Yep, there are a ton a clones for less than $500. You can find some of the older quality clones for super cheap.
Seed packs can go for more than $400 these days so for a high quality clone and it's being better than most clones around I think it's defo worth it.
We understand your point for sure but its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
Some clones I heard have sold for 10k for 1 cut ( and again could easily be worth that 10k to them if they market it and sell it at a high price , he needs to only sell 20 cuts for $500 and its paid and I can imagine it easy for him to sell clones for 500 of a 10k cut).
That being said I've found phenos as good as any clone I've ever grown and smoked in seed packs I've popped from packs made with some of the best cuts I've ever grown/sampled

Nutrients, electric bill , ipm , equipment like dehumidifier, ac, lights , dosers for food ph up and down , testing, back up redundancy like pumps , inline fans , Generators. I don't have a huge garden but its not small. I grow in 100% aeroponics. I have a few hours from the time of when a pump stops pumping for what ever reason in veg, flower less . My monthly light bill is 1450$ in the winter , summer even more with increased air-conditioning . 2 years ago when switching to led I payed out 4600$ for lighting and those weren't even expensive lights. I have back ups of everything . Including extra lights I even have back up lights for my back up genetics i keep. Imagine now what a full time nursery must deal with as far as expenses.
And these miscreants do not test their plants, selling infected or infested crap, to ruin people gardens. Lost $2k In genetics from Bens Nursery sending spider mites that got into each room. If you spent that much on electric to grow clones, you sold $10 million worth of them. Get real. Probably another parasite clone seller I mentioned since only 4 posts.
That is the problem. I have no income, so look for bargains, and those are the problem sellers. With medgrower, MG1brands, MG1seeds, the worst infected plant was something Beleaf is still selling for $10K. Wonder whether they just send any infected crap from bag seed, knowing they will never make it to flower, and be identified as fraud. Took 6 weeks to send it, and 3 bottom rows of leaves which died from mold were stripped off. He sell many alleged great genetics for $75, and had sale for $50 and bought a bunch. Would have been better off burning the money.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, no clone is worth hundreds of dollars, let alone thousands at least, not anymore now that the value of herb has plummeted. I don’t pay more than 150 a clone these days and that was only because it was a super rare clone. On average I spend 100 bucks or I simply trade someone an elite for that elite. That includes any sour diesel clones too. I see some asshole was charging 500 bucks a pop for skunktek sour diesel, and I genuinely was gonna fork out the cash a year ago but I decided to wait. I’m glad I waited cuz most people weren’t impressed with that skunktek cut and now I can get it through trades or pay 75 bucks for it shipped right to my door. Don’t let these guys try to convince you any clone is worth hundreds cuz they’re not. If they pay hundreds for a cut, it’s because they don’t have anything worth trading for or they simply don’t know there are much better connections that exist that have the same cut they want. Yes some are clean, and some ppl send fungal problems, I’ve seen those ppl that charge hundreds and use tumi for testing send me a cut with a few spider mites. It’s the luck of the draw until you find the good clone plugs

Quality is everything. Keeping a quality plant alive for decades takes time and $. If you are dealing with people who care more about the $$ than the plant I would look elsewhere. Spending 250$ on one from a good source is perfectly fine.

I’m fully aware. I have been keeping cuts alive for decades. It can be costly, but nobody pays more for better quality herb anymore because there is such a huge surplus of it everywhere now, so everyone’s expectations should be a bit more humbled. That and with inflation, idk about you guys but dropping 250 bucks for a clone is not that affordable when I can get them everywhere for free in a trade. If growers weren’t in it for the money, they wouldn’t be charging 250 bucks for a cut branch dipped in rooting hormone
I would never buy weed from anyone that's not the direct growers. Others can do as they like.. If someone wants o e of my keepers it won't be $50. Good luck finding them elsewhere. The $ made helps keep the cost down it sure as he'll ain't profit lmao.

You have no clue who I am or what I do. I don't sell weed or clones. 90% of all my weed gets donated to the sick. I sell seeds. If someone contacts me I don't know for one of my keepers it's not free. I've never paid a dime for a clone or anyone I know paid me for one. There are always going to be people that don't get it.
