Miracle Grow is good for a quick pick me up tonic in the morning (like a hybrid Tang/Red Bull) and I prefer my Guano sprinkled liberally over a Salad or with a bit of shredded cheese on top of a thick soup or chili ... it adds a nice Zip ... go figure ... I did my first grow with Schultz plant food and Schultz orchid for flowering. Now, I just buy "organic" soil from my hydro shop and it is wonderful. My flower fert is organic. I mainly just hate Monsanto/Scotts Corp which is reason enough.

At least you admit that the main motivation behind your reasoning is your hatred of a certain company, and it's certainly your right to hate whomever you please. Your decision however is not primarily based on plant growth related issues though, and that's fine, but I just wanted to point that out.

If I suffered from Scoleciphobia, and constantly posted in the organics forum, warning of the dangers of worm castings and placing worms in soil, I could certainly understand that a few people there would get upset.

Peeing on plants...now I heard about peeing around your outdoor patch to keep the predators away...but holy crap...any one who ever had a fish tank with an undergravel filter would see the huge flaws in this.

Oh, and no worms in my soil. Yeah, it has worm castings but it is sterile from my experience. They probably zapped it with gamma rays. sh.... don't tell the organics about the gamma rays....

Because Dignan, the synthetic users are blind to the fact that even though the buds they grow look good, they can't wrap thier chemical soaked brains around the notion that, unlike organically grown buds, synthetic buds are just plain poo poo.

I'm just a beginner grower, and even my buds aren't black sooty ash, the ash is pretty damn light in color, and I find that it tastes just fine. Anybody who has black sooty ash, chem or not, obviously has no clue. Just because somebody grows organic, doesn't mean that they have more skill.
