Santa Marta is a coastal city in northern Colombia, Santa Maria is a landlocked city in southern Brazil

for me the chems/diesels are the best weed, OG is always nice too, they have a more dynamic palate than single origin landraces like yeah there is that meaty greasy hashy earthy flavor but that's not all there is to it, and of course their potency is off the charts

what I'm actually not the biggest fan of is when chems/diesels and OGs get crossed as I feel there are things about the flavor of each that get blurred and in a way makes a bit of a more one dimensional flavor

not a fan of sativa landraces or hazes that much, every now and again something will catch my eye and I may give it a try, but generally speaking I have more or less completely dismissed dutch hazes

as for classic strains it depends, if I see some ak47 I may try it but would more than likely pass on NL

new strains, well cookies definitely sucks, I have tried a few different MACs and liked one of the examples but the rest were lackluster, gelatos are probably what I have enjoyed the most but even they are kind of meh, I tried a strain called fatso which is GMOXlegend OG and...no...just no, it did not have the potency of a proper chem or OG, it had that horrible creamy/doughy edge to it from the cookies, chem D and legend on their own please

I like fruity strains too some of which fall under the classic category like mango and papaya, I've had some lemon tree that I really liked

when I think "terpy" I think BOG and Subcool
Not knocking the guy in any way but I always thought subcool just took c99 and crossed great examples with other strains and made a killing with fancy naming. If you get a great example of c99 it will pass on it's potency and improve almost anything, just like a great example of skunk#1 will. jmo

Yes it is how things are with these lenses. I don’t drive much at night anymore.

I sure hope C99 is as good as they are saying.

Sub used a space queen male romulanXc99, and BOG's career was launched from a Sensi Seeds bargain brand bubblegum, but I suppose it's things like the blue moonrocks that count, the vortex and conspiracy kush

not everyone that grabbed a pack of afghani#1 ended up with stardawg

funny you say that as i always felt c99 was inbred/linebred pineapple jackhera ,,, from the first release of jh we got faster resiny pineapple phenos with more indica bud structure that were pretty much identical to what people later told me was c99,,,

The early release of ak47 was fruity too, personally I think most of what we smoke comes from Sk#1, the mid to late 90s sk#1 was killer , reeked ,very cooperative, and pretty much the perfect plant,I had a great clone of it that would put anything else I ran across to shame and it finished start of October, then i got mites and didn't know how to deal with them ,lost it, and never found it again. I'd take that clone over anything since.

The original ak47 release was very impressive, providing a powerful, pleasant, long lasting high and great yield,it was a money maker but it was also very susceptable to white mold/mildew and expensive as hell in seed form. I'm in Canada and back then it was around $30 a seed and Kind Seed Co carried it ,I remember Sensi Star regular seeds were that much too but neither are today what they were, feminizing has limited the pool over the years replaced with bling and frost due to market demand. Again, jmo, I'm nobody.

the last time I had some real deal ak47 was around 2011, loud spicy skunky, soaring trippy high for 5 hours, like a perfect strain to alternate with sour for sativa leaning not haze smoke, whatever got worked into it toned down the loudness for sure and the high isn't quite as soaring, it used to be stuff you could get "too high" with
