Trainwreck is clone only but there is the remote possibility someone somewhere has seeds from the same batch where Trainwreck came from. Is that what you have? I guess I'm just missing something.

Yes I live in Humboldt and have received seeds from the person who created trainwreck. I'm like only the third person he's given the pure tw x tw seeds to. I'm going to do a test grow to look at other phenotypes. I'll get pics up for y'all this fall when i pop them. What can i say, I just got the luck of the draw by meeting the father of the wreck. Got the full tour and saw the wreck in its full splendor.

There are lots of strains that people think are "clone only" but in reality. the people that work with the strain to find that elite clone have their seeds. I think the myth of clone only strains happened because when Nevil brought a lot of cuts back from cali in the 80's he only had females to work with, thus everyone thought their must be no males. That's an inccorrect assumption. I've been out here 12 years and have seen many a strain people said "clone only" and when met the original grower/creater, of course, he has stock piled the original seeds. Its just a lot of the elite breeders out here DON'T want to be famous or known. That's the truth.
It was funny when he gave me the seeds another person was there from socal (a long time honey oil maker since the 70's) and when my friend handed me the seeds the honey oil guy's eyes lit up and he said something like "are those the seeds that don't exist?" and my buddy said "yep" as he poured like 400 something seeds in my hand.
That's the true story. Now let's see what i can do with them. Its going to be hard to beat the e-32 arcata cut that he selected as an elite, but I'm going to look for another unique pheontype new to growers.
Now if i could only get ahold of my bro from michigan that has the pure g-13 cuts, i'd be really tearing it up!!!

I kind of disagree on the clone only thing with you. You may have 100 TW seeds but none may express the complete profile that the cut I'm, or many others are, used to. Genetic combination is an interesting thing. Each plant is actually 100% unique. I really do believe 'freaks' show up and sometimes these are recognized.
I've heard for a gazillion years that Purple Haze doesn't exist anymore yet Ace Seeds recently released some genuine, IMO, Purple Haze stock.
I'm running a cut right now that could in some ways be considered elite but it's actually a pretty simple cross but for some reason this plant from that 1 seed it came from is very different...in good ways.
I love TW...it's one of my all time favs. I can tell some stories that people wouldn't believe but I know they're legit. If those are genuine beans then you're a lucky mother fucker. What you do with them from here on out is where the story really begins though

JLP is cooll- I liked his g-13 f2's back in 04'. But I think I'm more than capable of thinking up some good crosses myself. I've got a nice Petrol (like Rez's f2 or f3's that he put on sbay in like 04 or 05) cut that is killer. A wreck diesel cut might be nice. I also have male and female of the g-13bx from gypsys collection 04' i believe that might mate nice. But as far as putting out pure seed it really is up to mr. e-32. I'll have to ask him what he thinks.

I have a Trainwreck show in the works. It is just a small one light show of a personal medicinal grow, but any show with the Trainwreck is worth checking out. It will be complete from cutting to cure, but I will not be posting it until it is complete which will be a few more weeks.

Here's the thing I don't understand...what good is it to sit on great genetics? Trainwreck is internationally known at this point. What I see is more and more hybrid crap...genetics are getting diluted and people are hungry, IMO, for the good stuff. The story seems to be 'Do you remember that strain?'. I'm just more into preservation and stabilization than creating some new fangled gadget. Great stuff has already been created and lost...
.Everyone has their reasons. I think people would go nuts if they could buy some genuine (F whatever) TW seedstock.

The problem is that the guy who gave them to me did it on a this is just for you basis and not to be shared with the "adam seed whores" as he put it. he's turned down the cover of high times etc. etc. If anything he'd give them away for free to med. users. At least that's what he told me. He's very compassionate.

Nice purple Mark. What cross or strain is that. Sorry, if i missed it if you already stated it. As for your seeds. I'd ask like others have stated. Core is right and i wouldn't do anything to upset that person. It wouldn't be nice at all. I know once i get going. I'm going to do some BX crossing myself. I'll take my OE cross and see what i can do. See how close i can get in seed form anyways. Should be fun. Either way, I know what ever comes of it. Should be some nice smoke.
One thing i've noticed with TW. It does grow different in other gardens. I notice TK growing his out and then matchin his pictures up to mine and they looked different. Then i've seen others to have plants looking just like mine. Thought that stuff was pretty wild.

and the purple is some strain that came from him also, some cross they call purple dragon out here. Its pretty dark eh.
Back to wreck- I'll try to get pics of my current wreck grow just to show y'all what the arcata cut should look like. There are a couple other versions of wreck out there- one that herms, and one that grows a straight up cola. The arcata one creeps, finishes fast, is super-potent, will stink up the house and is almost too stoney. The cancer and aids and catastropic pain people love it out here cause it really is medicine.

You should give the shiva-skunk from Sensi Seeds a shot.Theres a grape pheno in it thats jus lip smackin good,potent too! It's also great fer addin mass ta anything ya breed it with.Ya might wanna keep it in mind,ya know,fer later on. (wink lol)Take care...BC
