Once again I'm eating my heart out green with envy over this gorgeous crop planted right in our man Star Crash's home garden. Right now I have a bunch of nicely rooted clones ready to go outdoors, BUT, a bunch of homeless people suddenly invaded my land, pitched a tent, and took up residence right along the path that takes me to my once secluded grow spot, where pre-dug holes packed with worm castings await the year's crop. Can't call the cops to get rid of the invaders. Can't take the law into my own hands. Can't grow outdoors under this abundant tropical sunshine, because of those nasty squatters. Dang ! Can't win for losing.

Which genetics do you want to use this season for seed making ? Btw it looks really good at your side. It would be perfect if you could add in future the genetics :) greetings from Germany

i'm trying some red heri fruit bud again this year, letting them pollinate the northern widow x super silver haze auto[f1] and itself, if i get a male that's early enough. there's all ready a female rhfb showing. two northern widow x ssha are confirmed female. both rhfb and nw didn't finish here last year, so this could be another no finish year, but both were extremely mold proof and worth another try. pics are labeled with strain info.

Started ten The Real Seed Co. Tirah Valley April 1 on the windowsill, transplanted outside May 15. Organic grow with garden soil amended with peat moss, cow poop and worm castings, with worm castings and dilute urine applied as top dressing. Six females and one male so far are either in flower or pre-flower. Absolute freaking monster hashplants, the tallest is 9’6” and eight of them already over 7’6”. I’m actually worried about how I’m going to handle these giants; fortunately they don’t have a super-dense architecture and that plus a hopeful earlier harvest than last year’s late Oct. finish will get me through the Fall Monsoon here LOL

And Star buddy, long time no see on DNC! Hope you are well.

Also running five Hawaiian Hashbud x Balkhi crosses I made last year. Only one has pre-flowered so far and she’s a girl. Not enormous like the Tirah. I grew two on my windowsill over the winter from a couple of seeds that literally popped while still on the mother Balkhi, and damned if the little 15” shorties didn’t produce some really nice uplifting flowers, so figured I’d see how they did in the ground. I gifted 150 seeds of this cross to The Real Seed Co. that were handed out as freebie five packs, hoping someone somewhere reports on them at some point. Froze pollen from the Hawaiian Hashbud male and am going to back cross to it and see how that goes.

Real Seed Company Sherberghan. 4 out of 6 seem to be showing female preflowers. I feel like they could be bigger, but I had a mishap with some foliar spray early in the season and it fried a bunch of leaves, however they recovered beyond my expectations. Website says harvest is Oct-Nov, so I'm crossing my fingers they'll finish. Weather can be quite unpredictable here in MA during the fall.

This is actually what the sunset looks like yesterday here in Central New York pretty incredible and it’s due to massive western wild fires sending smoke all the way east
