In corn you're plants will have to fight for sunlight. Unless you carved out a spot for them, chances are good that they'll only be one spear like cola. If I make a little room for them, mine race the corn and top out and stretch as high as the corn.

I keep an eye out on freshly planted corn fields and look for planting mistakes/fuckups that leave empty spaces. Those spots are usually where the tractor/planter had to turn around. As the corn grows, good spots reveal themselves by the time corn is 2-3 feet tall.

Here's an areal shot of what I'm talking about. The stealth factor from the air is excellent.

The bottom picture, with the yellow growth is a patch of dead weeds after the farmer sprayed the field. Looks like it'll be a convenient spot for several plants.

This is just asking for trouble.

Funny that this came this morning. I planted a dozen last night in a corner that had about 200 square feet of clear unplanted space.

Just made 1/10 the recipe and I still got 10 bottles (10ml).

It doesn't take a lot to make a lot.
Gonna have to unload them premixed.

I harvested the first buds today, lowryder @ 62N.

It was a small wierdo all from beginning growing under the two others in the shade. It only produced two tiny buds. I will let the two big ones get a week or two more because i can. :)

Does it get FROSTY like that without needing the 12/12 light cycle ?

@Tricko: 62N? Man you're all the way up there! Great looking Lowryder btw, if I'm not mistaken there is some Northern lights in the background of that one, right?

JustSumTomatoes: Its just lowryders this year, but i have some seeds with a northernlights x lowryder that is capable of finishing outside in this climate.

Its not easy to grow outside here, but if I give them a week or two inside first, then I can plant them out mid may and finish them in the summertime before it gets wet and moldy.

The girls at the hideout have been really thirsty this past week..
I've been down there trying to give them plenty of water that I siphon from a small reservoir about 300 feet away...

Everything is looking good..
The bird feeders and birdhouse I put out there a few years ago are working great..
I've attracted lots of little birds to the area and I have virtually zero problems with grasshoppers, leafcutters, aphids and other pot-eating bugs...
It costs me about $75 per season to keep the feeders full and it's worth every penny...

Bud Green in no mood to take prisoners this year. Mighty fine plants already towering above the gardener, and the buds aren't even due yet.

We'll be watching this very closely, and beautiful things are going to happen a lot sooner than anyone could possibly have imagined ha ha. Ok politics aside, this is a verdant jungle of righteousness in the making sir, and my hat is off to ya.
