Dang I feel rough this morning. I've got severe leg cramps. I've cut through blackberry thorns/thickets like MountainBudz was talking about. My damn arms are skint all to shit. Lucky yesterday with not having enough water. I started to throw in the towel and call it quits like MB was saying also. I had to get holes dug to put these plants in, looking back I should've said F-it and came home. When you run out of water you need to come home....that's my new way of thinking. If you get your plants in the ground and can't make it home or die it's just not worth it. I found a great place I just couldn't leave without planting. It's been raining a lot so I shouldn't have to water for awhile. Maybe go spray with more bug/insect spray....more deer repellent. I'm glad I had some wire to make a cage yesterday. I got into a huge deer trail. Saw a lot of droppings and this trail was ran a lot by these deer. I almost feel like I got into the thickets they sleep in....I'm almost 100% sure. I'm debating on bear up in there also. I saw lots of signs that didn't look like deer. I'm gonna try to do a 30gal container today....maybe get a 10gal done too....gonna stay around the homestead today lol

Keep a gallon man, it's heavy but so so so worth it. I'll go through a gallon on a digging trip easy. I'm not even in big mountains either so I could only imagine... glad your safe dude! Be safe everyone it gets hotter than you think out there

Hey wvkindbud i am using a new grow spot this year.. the area was ate up with deer trails and deer dropping literally everywhere! But it was too awesome of a spot to atleast not give a shot (let me remind you I have had deer literally wipe me out before while applying methods of deer repellent that has worked for me year after year) I guess I’ve just had a few bad experiences with starving deer because they didn’t care, they were determined to eat my plants. However in this new spot, infested with deer signs.. my plants have survived.. I threw out moth balls 360 degrees around my area, I cut 4 water bottles in half and zip tied one of them to tree in each corner of my grow area then filled them up with pee. I took 4 bars of cucumber scented dove soap, I widdled away at the bars of soap with my pocket knife in all the areas that looked like the easiest entrance for a deer. I gathered up as much human hair as possible out of hair brushes and vacuum cleaner and and zip tied wads of the hair to tree branches all around the area.. did I get lucky.. or did all of thee things combined actually save my plants? Who knows.. but there is literally deer poo atleast every 30 feet.. in about a mile radius.. just wanted to share that.. I was stoked to go back and see that they had gotten big!

Hello Guys,
I have a suggestion for the heat. Stop at the health food store and pick up some emergenC It has electrolytes and other goodies that need replacing in summertime. Little pkg of powder to dump in the water really helps keep off the muscle cramps in the heat. Cheaper than the sports drinks and better.:tiphat:

Hey justsumtomatoes and wvkindbuds I can answer some questions about kc33 if you want feel free to ask I like to help I’ve been finished putting out plants for 2 weeks now I have 106 kc33’s that have survived, I started out with more but as you know..hard rains at the beginning and animals chipped away at the numbers. I had success with kc33 last year as well .I just was back reading thru all of this and I’ve got some questions myself for you guys.. I’ll save my questions for tomorrow tho it’s time to hit the hay!

I've got a bagseed plant I'm using to experiment with to see kinda what's gone eat on it. The plant got overwatered outside from rain but I'm waiting on my seeds to arrive so like I said just a experiment plant. Every grower should start a plant early in any grow to test different stuff out....even if you know everything or think you do.
Looks like aphids or something...there bugs to my I'm not well versed on these bug. There a lot of mites, caterpillars, other shit around here. I've just got Organicide and neem exact, got some stuff ordered azamax, probably gonna mix need seed meal into my soil mixture. I'm probably gonna get start growing for real next week and have something to do lol
This is a really great point. Each year when I make a start I invariably make school boy errors like forgetting about slugs n snails. I seem to always lose a couple of prized seeds when I could have just tossed in some Lo care beans just to get in the swing of things. Hope it's not too late to join this party. I'm growing at 34s currently in mid winter looking through some Karma headbanger f2's I made for a few good gals fur the up coming OD season cheers all. :tiphat:

Thanks for sharing kangaroo Ky! Applied more repellent this evening. Plant are doing well growing by the day! Almost hip height on the tall one now! I am so blessed to be able to bring in chain link fencing with the truck. Its heavy! Used to grow way out in the bush and didn't really have many deer issues luckily. The rodents are what you have to keep away. They like to knaw and cut stems. Once they get big enough, disease and mold become the issue usually. Although a couple years ago I had a racoon or something tear through a bunch of buds eating and throwing them everywhere! Not a good sight to come to Sept 25th! Trying to prevent that this year! :smoke:

This is some serious deer repelling lol. Anyone to accidentally encounter your grow spot would just assume it was a voodoo ritual ground and haul ass

Have you ever grown KC/ Leda Uno? I have two healthy ones growing right now. I had to pinch and bend a two footer to try and keep stealthy. One felt like a hollow stem and the other solid? Any ideas?

I did a KC/ Mango outdoors a bit ago. Decent stuff. Super vigorous, but too much mold. Lots of rain and humidity late that year. Pulled it mid Oct.

Blue grass crab no I have not. The only kc brains I have used is kc33 and I’ve used it a lot, for several reasons. And I seen something on here about someone saying they was afraid it wouldnt finish for them. It actually finishes EARLY for me. Well early considering some other strains I have used.

I would like to hear updates on the crystal limit for sure! Especially finish time (I try to have ALL of my harvesting going on at the same “round about” time) makes it much easier on me with the way I do my harvests. Also another huge thing for me is how rough and tough is the plant can it handle going without water, mold, disease etc.. or is it pretty sensitive? And of course size to yield..

Pipeline your gals are looking good. The site looks neat too. And yea you fortunate to be able to take in actual chain link fence! Lol.
I’m just curious, what do you like about bunching a lot of plants together like that? I have done it before, I’m just curious what you like about it. Now a days I usually spread them out. HOWEVER this year, my seedling room was getting smaller and smaller.. I got down to only having 8 plants left to get out into the wild.. I had a crap tone of promix bales that I never used, some bags of humus, some bags of miracle grow, some bags of earth warm casting and also u bought 5 bags of this stuff that advertises holding like 200 times it’s weight in water. I said hmmmm I’m gonn do something crazy. So I ordered a 400 gallon smart pot (6ft wide by 2ft deep) took it to this place I knew about that Is WIDE open to the sky literally all day beating down sunlight, also it’s not to hard to get to which is another reason it’s kind of a crazy idea.. needless to say I put the pot there put all of the soil and admendents I mentioned, in the pot. And dropped all 8 of my last plants in it. So we will see lol!

I hope it makes a forest. You'll know you did right when you come back and they can talk

Thank you!! I hope the best for you too nothing is better then walking up on them and seeing them doing so good! It gets into your blood! I put those 8 out about 2 weeks ago haven’t seen them since and won’t see them again until around the 1st week of august..

I had a fun time in the woods today lol. I dug about 6 holes a few weeks ago threw in some dr earth also some water crystals but today I couldn't find them to save my life hahaha. It literally took me 3 hours and I wound up only finding 2 holes. so I had to dig one on the way out.. I'm lucky I only brought 3,I was gonna try and plant all 6 boy that woulda been a mess. I guess they are hidden well enough if I can't even find them. Thankfully I brought plenty of water I was only expecting it to take a hour at most

This is all too common. Have got seriously lost looking for stuff I've planted. I'm now trying to learn to have a good look at the trees around so I can get my bearings in the real chance I will get lost. Where I go it's really easy to find your way if you learn the landmark trees. But really easy to barge in and forget the direction out. Cheers :)

lol. Been there, done that. Even worse, I did it with a few plants I couldn't find after I planted them. The grass grew so fast and tall it fell over and buried them. I found all but 3. Was I ever pissed. And it was hot as fuck that day.

Live and learn. This is what I do now.

Hole Prep:
- Bring bamboo stakes
- Dig holes and amend
- Insert bamboo stake.

Planting time:
- Find staked holes
- Plant
- Cage plant using bamboo stake to tie cage and anchor it to the ground.

Problem Solved.
