twenty4: your pics are awesome, are these all from your current travels or were they from a previous visit?

so I've finally saved up the money to go to india, btw if anyone knows of a site that has good rates on airfare from Alaska to India, I would greatly appreciate the info.

I'm so excited now, I told my mother that I'd like to see the Ghats so I'm glad that'll be my first excursion while in india and now the photos are making me even more glad for the choice.

My question on the topic was if anyone ever found anything good while in Mumbai, I understand are bad for the search of good charas or ganja but that is where i'll be for a large portion of the time so I'm hopeing there might be something at least decent that is available.

damn i am a NRI and i sure as hell have never seen the beautiful parts of india like that, my parents always shove me in a hotel room in mumbai or ahmedabad. pisses me off, i did score tho, my parents had hired a driver for me for me. lol big mistake on their part, i just got my driver to bring me bud when he came to work everyday. shit was pretty skunky actually, not alot of seeds in it, but i sure as **** wish i saved those seeds, woulda been some badass pot grown right.

Definately get out've the major cities. While these are also an experience, the natural beauty and smaller towns offer so much more of India.

More of the 'OG' got in Kerala. This stuff was 25 Rs for an 1/8th
And one of the straight joints I used to harrass the locals, hehe. Guys are use to stuffin a bit of weed into their beadies, Not when I'm around :sasmokin:

Tastes of Arabia invade Kozhikode

GOURMETS' CHOICE: Arabian dishes have become a hit in the city.

Eateries that offer mouth-watering Arabian culinary delights have emerged as a major attraction for gourmets in Kozhikode city. Fast food joints and restaurants now offer authentic Arabian cuisine to their discerning customers.

"Only a few customers, mostly the Non-Resident Indians employed in Gulf countries, used to frequent our place when we started business 12 years ago. Today, we are busy attending to college students on week days and families enjoying their evenings on Sundays," said K.P. Shamin, owner of Kajah's Hot Buns at the Marwa Palace on the Link Road.

This drive-in cafeteria was the first to introduce the popular flavours cooked on the Sherwarma and Shawaya in Kerala. That was in 1994. Both chicken and beef are cooked in Sherwarma while only chicken is cooked in Shawaya. Sahmin's father, Abubaker Haji, a businessman, inspired him to start an Arabian restaurant. "Spices and oil are used sparingly. This is one of the specialities of Arabian food. These are served with the kuboos and samooli. Youngsters prefer to have them as meat rolls or sandwiches," says Shamin, who has imported the machines and the ingredients used for cooking the meat from Saudi Arabia.

The restaurant also has a Broaster imported from the United States. Chicken cooked in this stainless steel pressure fryer makes it moist and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. In order to be successful, restaurants should change to suit to different palates," he adds.

Brothers Assainar, Abu baker, Nazir, Shabir and Rashid set up the Al-Bake Arabic Restaurant on the Mavoor as a fast food outlet in 1999. Two years ago the restaurant was expanded to dish out exclusively to Arabian specialities. It has been modelled on the lines of a restaurant found in a Gulf nation.

"Our restaurant provides the real Arabian taste. The most popular dish from our kitchen is the specially cooked Mandhi dishes. This dish is made in mutton, chicken, fish, prawns," says T.K.Rahim, manager.

"We also have appointed a Yemeni, Abu Salem, as the chef to supervise the kitchen. Our guests include foreigners, mostly Arabs. So we try to maintain the standards of the restaurants as in the Gulf," Rahim adds.

So this 'OG' I was picking up in kerala, a bit of a report.
Buds were small tight sativa nugs. Mostly sensimilla, though some were lightly seeded.
Scent was a sweet earthy type smell with resiny caramel tones opening up when you crumble it.
Taste was incredible in pure joints, so smooth. Like chocolate on the lungs.
Burnt down evenly.

And Lastly HIGH :joint:
Great Holiday weed, energetic brain weed. Smooth and into the head it goes soaring, fitting perfectly with my want to explore.
Smoke more and just fly higher.
I'm not normally prone to paranoia but in a strange place having a puff can sometimes leave me hiding in my room. Not from the 'OG'. Very Nice :rasta:

Intensity, emotions, beauty, horror, richness, poorness, materialism, spiritualism, love, hate, cleverness, stupidness, hell all of humanity is condensed here more than in any other place i have been to

this one sentence says more about India than all the other posts put together.

and add to that in every city, everywhere you look there is some guy pissing against a wall, a child shitting in the gutter and a beggar tugging on your arm or some scumbag trying to rip you off...and then on the other hand you will be amazed, moved and gushing with joy at other sights and sounds.....India ain't easy nor it is forgettable

if you want to have an "experience" both tough and wonderful then go to India for at least several months....if you want to have an enjoyable holiday then please don't...instead go to South East Asia.

a good read for first time, young travellers before you go to India is "Are you experienced" it's a funny novel about a young English guy who travels around India..it's also an education about your trip there.

i can not wait til i got back as i am gonna stray FAR from the major cities!!! any expierances from goa anybody? i hear thats where the party is at

Great pics dude! :) Lovely looking dosas. I would love some of those OG seeds ;) You know, I bet you could sell them on Seedbay if you release the pure breeding line, but I bet they will flower for like 4 months like my Andhra Pradeshi sativa did.

Unfortunately, I'm not growing right now. It was too dry in the Spring and my plants dried out. Now would be a good time to move more out, but I have to travel an hour each way and then hike up a very steep mountain for another 1/2 hour, and if it doesn't rain, I have to haul water. *sigh* and to think I did all of that in 2005. Harvested enough good Indian pot to keep me supplied from Spring 2006 until now. I'm making the little I have left last, but it looks like I'll have to buy some unless I can get my own place or put some plants out soon. :(

If you're looking for pot in Mumbai, go to Colaba (near the Gateway to India). Go to the Leopold Cafe and ask around discreetly. Supposedly there's some really good (but expensive) stuff to be had if you meet the right people. Leopold's full of foreigners, both tourists and those who have settled in India.

Def gonna try produce some more seed from these. 5/5 I brought back have sprouted. Hopefully get a nice couple to make some more and mix in with my other stuff I popped at the same time. I'll be patient :rasta:

I am not an expert on charas adulteration, but one traditional method is to alternate rubbing the plants with dates - hence bulking out the hash with sweet organic matter - roughly 50/50

I thought that I smelled dates in the "charas" I bought here in Rishikesh... Now that explains it. It aint that bad, but it aint super either. Maybe when I get up north I'll find some super quality bubbly charas.
