I just got sow PUSH, used it yesterday on my veg plants and new transplanted clones. Did some with lights on and a few with lights off. Plants seem to have liked it. I plan on waiting 4 days, then spray again.

I have not updated the status of my RO plants that showed mag def with 6/9. I tried using RO version on 4 plants, they looked great, til week 4 flower...then they started Mag def signs. So then I had 3 other other plants that I fed RO version + Epsom. Those 3 plants are nice and green, and are killing it in flower compared to the other 4. Also feeding a Sour Bubble mom RO + Epsom...it loves it.

For anyone who cares, I also have been toying with MaxiGrow for my Veg plants. I usually use 6/9, as it vegs faster than RO version. But I can say for sure that MaxiGrow and a little Silica for pH up by far outgrows 6/9 or RO version. I have a few side by side plants and each one of the MaxiGrow plants are significantly larger, way thicker stems, and look flawless. MaxiGrow at 1.2EC For all veg plants in Coco is my new veg food, it is faster to mix than 6/9 too. I would recommend it to anyone using Coco that want to improve veg growth should check it out. I am also trying the HD ON A COUPLE plants week 3 Flower and were fed RO version. According to Chris he suggests using RO version in Veg and weeks 1-2 flower, then swithch to HD from week 3 to flush for optimal results. I will let everyone know the results.

Wow Dan.... Them gg4 looked absolute fizire...... I'm stoked for u. As for me.... I just started a new grow today w some clones I took a week a go. Not all are rooted, but I am using the maxi bloom. My grow is ghetto so try not to laugh too hard. I'm using a drip system. Feeding twice a day at the moment, but after I get all clones in the pots, I'm gonna start feeding 8/9 times a day. I'm running the erkle, banana dawg, purple butters, blockhead bx, bubba kush pre 98, and the headband and grapefruit haze all off 1 res. all are big eaters except for that butters..... I haven't had much luck w the cocoa on my last run. I mixed 60/40 cocoa to chunky perlite.... Hope u guys like the pics!!

No problem Dans! If u ever want to speed up your veg time, grab a bag of MaxiGrow. For real, the plants are night and day faster than RO or 6/9...then switch to V+B for flower. I will report. Results of HD
experiment

Having pretty good results with the V+B HD and +Life so far. Definitely used it up faster than I expected. Need to order more of the HD and would like to give the Push and +Size a try too.

Anyone have any coupon/discount codes?

I originally tried the V+B for the simplicity/cost, but looks like the cost is not really that low when everything is added up. Going to finish up this round with the recommended line up and then decide if it makes sense to continue.

chris used to cut the shipping costs of ICmag members but since this new company took over distribution I don't think it applies anymore .

my kid is just getting into coco DTW & wanted an easy nute to try , I pointed him at the Maxi line untill he gets used to it . your right it does do very well in veg . but i've been using the vitamin/hormone booster from MBferts & that has made a 100X difference in veg for me !

with coco & fresh clones & during transplants , your better off letting the coco dry out a bit untill the roots get established , then you can feed as much as you like . coco can be over watered untill the roots are good & established in the pots . i tell most people to treat coco like soil untill the pots full of roots & even in early veg . i feed early veg & fresh transplants like every 3rd day depending on temps & how fast the cups/pots dry out .

this is the main reason people have problems with coco when they first try it , because of the idea that coco cannot be over watered . yes it can !
you don't need amendments in your coco , it does fantastic all by itself !!! just feed it /water it correctly& watch how fast shit grows in it ! :tiphat:

Bottom feed clones to avoid overwateringband promote roots to grow downwards. Try it and u will see a big difference in root growth. Just keep the top moist, your clones will grow much faster. Dans is right, you can overwater coco...especially on new cuts or seedlings that have been transplanted. Increase the moisture as the plant grows.

Thanks a lot Dan and slow for gettin back w me. I will slow up things till I can see they are eating more.... Feeding from the bottom makes sense as well slow.... One more question I have about cocoa..... Should I b flushing once a week??? When I go into bloom, I'm gonna use the kiss method.... Should I flush before going into bloom?? If so, how long of a flush??
Much respect to u guys and this website.... I've been growing for a long time.... It's great to finally b able to ask questions to the right people n know that I can trust their answers....

I personally never flush until the last 10-14 days before harvest. Flushing will starve your plants any other time. If you must flush for some reason, feed afterwards. Good luck

yeah , no need to flush during the flower cycle unless you over fed or the pots dried out & salts built up . other than that , just feed light right from the start , make sure to get runoff to flush out any salts or food that built up . which shouldn't if fed light & he pots stay moist .
& like slow , i use a minimum of 2 weeks of plain water feedings till the chop , no flushes needed .

flushing is when you run 3x the amount of water through the coco & pot to "flush " out any nastys . Leaching is when we feed nothing but plain water or PH'ed water the last 2 weeks so the plants will use up any nutes in the coco & feed off themselves .

Zach from V+B recommended putting freshly rooted clones into their new home and letting it sit for a day before watering.. wouldn't think they'd take this very well but I'm sure gonna try it out. How much have you guys been feeding freshly rooted clones without burning them.. can they take 5 grams a gal right from the start? GG4, Wifi43 and Lemon OG Warrior cuts all freshly rooted
