any kiss users have exp. with veg+bloom

go with the dirty formula in pro mix .make sure you use size and life .its works
outstanding but is very expensive.dont worry bout the dirty part .any fert I use with organic components as part of the mix seems to leave sediment but it seems harmless.i had many comments about how good my last round tasted. if I use it I do so in flowering .

I have hard tap water and a RO system. I currently use tatap and pureblend pro soil, calmag and liquid karma in promix.

How much are you feeding them and are you using tap? Thanks.

What EC you guys using for veg?

i build up from .4EC to 1.0 by the time they're ready to flower . the only strains i've gone higher on were Sour Bubble , they are a hungry strain . they needed a little extra calmag too which every other strain in my arsenal HASN'T needed .

How many tsp would that be for a 1 gallon? By any chance do we know how many grams that equates to a gallon or per 5 gallon as that would be more accurate. Thanks

PPM/TDS meters don't cost 'that' much to leave it to dry measurements. Most tap water has X amount of minerals, so you have to know what that number is to then add to, or adjust to

I have a tds meter I'm just confused about when you stated "week 4 flower- 1 tsp per 5 gals +size then enough v+b to reach 800 ppm". I'm curious how I can apply this to someone who fills out of 1 gallon jugs. Can you see where the confusion on my end is? Like what portion of that 800ppm is +size and what portion is veg+bloom?

tap EC + plus size EC + V&B EC = 800ppms (1.6EC)

go grab yourself a Homer bucket (5 gallons) & start mixing in that first of all . then fill your bucket up with your tap water ... stick the EC meter in & write down what the EC is . now add the 1 tsp of plus size & mix it up good . then stick your meter back in & write down what the EC of it is now . then add just enough V&B to bring that last EC number up to 1.6 EC ..... can ya dig it ???

even though if ya ask me 1.6 EC is to high to feed any plant !

And before theres anymore confusion about TDS & EC numbers .... heres the conversion chart . drag it to your desk top & save it & learn it !!! EC is the main conversion of all meters .
so , when talking about nutrient doses , talk in EC numbers so theres no confusion about the strength your talking about .

Is there an actual difference in the tap/ro formulas? Looking at the labels, they are exactly the same. Wish I had some tap leftover to do a side by side with 5 gal buckets...

I'm familiar with the conversion chart thank you for trying to help danstuds . I don't have enough plants to utilize a 5 gallon container so I'm curious how this would work for someone who uses 1 gallon containers. Are you still growing in coco dansbuds? And is it possible to get good results without the size? Thanks brotha

Let's see.
1 tsp per 5 gallons.
Soooooo
1/5 tsp per gallon.
Weigh out a tsp, divide by 5.
A lot of the questions you ask about the v&b product line can be answered in the 2,000+ posts in this thread.
A virtual wealth of info at your disposal, all you have to do is read.

i use 2 heaping Tsp per gallon on my ladies and they are growing great and very healthy. i have never owned a PH/ppm tester and never had any issues that made me take notice that something was up. here is veg+bloom dirty with 5ml of golden tree.

I'd encourage you to feed one plant 1/2 your normal dosage and see if it works for you. It looks like youre in soil and weve heard reports of other soil growers needing high ppms but...doesnt cutting your nute expense in 1/2 sound good? I use less than 1 tsp per gallon and have no issues ( other than the fact that I'm growing in an un-airconditioned ) garage in SoCAl during the summer...can't blame that on V+B though)

Edit....who the fuck am I kiddding. I got a shit load of issues....none I can blame on V+B though :biglaugh:
