ya i think u are right bc i just looked at my 1lb box of + size and it says to foliar it in veg with that. the V+B dirty has a weird smell when u crack open the bag but the + size has a nice smell to it. i got a 32oz sample of "amino blast" in the mail yesterday from X-nutrients that im gonna test out on a couple plants and see if i notice anything. has anyone u guys used a amino product and noticed better results?

Had to register here just because of this thread

My tap water is very high (500-800) and bounces all over because the water company mixes Colorado river water with local well water.

For that reason I use RO.

I normally run in E.B. Stone Recipe 420 soil (coco and peat mix).

If I stuck with the RO and Recipe 420 would Dirty be the product to order?

Or would HD work with my crazy hard water and ProMix HP? This would save me some time and money if the results were the same and/or better than Dirty.

Found some more info, wish they would put labels for each product on their web site.

Looks like Dirty is PH'd for peat / soil.

HD is a combo of Dirty and Hard with some new extra goodies in it.

If I ran HD in ProMix HP and cut my 500-800 water 50% with RO would that work ok?

I use the HD and mix 10 gallons at a time. Of that 10, 2 is tap and 8 are RO. My tap is about 500 ppm

It amazes me how many people trust their municipal water departments to use quality minerals. They take bids then go with lowest price, or minority contractors. No telling what chinese garbage they are buying

I consider what we grow medicine and want it as pure as possible.

Fortunately I have a Water Quality Report that shows me what's going on in my tap water.

Seems to have less heavy metals that some of the organic nutes I have used.

Ca and Mg seem fine but it has no iron and as much sodium as Ca.

Gonna stick with RO.

btw my RO waste goes into a 55 gallon barrel that's hooked up to my gutters. I use that for yard plants so no wasted water.
