Some update shots of the room. Pistil clusters have begun forming, stretch is slowing (thank Jah!) all is still green and healthy. Can't ask for more than that.
the group shot. Dont know what I did different between these two shots, but I wish all my HPS-on pics could turn out like the second one. What a difference! Somehow the cam compensated for the red
It looks like you adjusted White Balance in that latter pic... With my Sony Cyber-Shot, if I do the One Push White Balance adjustment {with the cam pointed towards the white wall}, it produces results like yours...
I have also found that pointing towards the brightened wall, and setting the Auto-Exposure it keeps my shots from over exposing when shooting the plants when the HPS is on...
You still have a chance at the LB. If this doesn't get it the Ortega cross should put on mad weight per sq. ft. You really put your bitches on the rack don't ya?
Hey guys, here we are a couple days later, things are going great. Watered the Sweet Cindy last night with a 2 pt 10-15-10 and 1 part 5-30-5 along with my normal routine of additives. Did some trimming as I went and got a nice shot of one of the Ortega Seeded females starting to fill in nicely.
In total they are 41 days old and 16 days into flower
I think the pic in my gallery is much bigger and more detailed
You seem to be a fine grower and whatever you get you deserve. I hope you get a bunch but I also hope you get this quality. This was from the last seed SC99 I grew. BOG
Why, thank you BOG, I appreciate that. I must say this is one of my best, most problem free grows that Ive had. I attribute a lot of that to my new soil, Home Depot brand Pro-Mix. The Miracle Grow I used before this never gave suce fast results.
Those are some healthy looking nuggets in that cannister.
Since all I have right now are seedlings, I am taking the down time to build a new flowering cabinet -- 2 ft. X 4 ft. X 7 ft. tall, leaving 6 feet of space under the lamps and exhaust fan. I'm lighting it with 4 150-watt hps.
I was GONNA go back to my 5-gallon bubblers, but looking at what you're getting in 3 gallons of soil, I may reconsider.... I could fit a lot more of those in the cab.
Your LST looks nice too. That's a technique I've practiced enough to get fairly good at, and the results more than justify the time and effort.
I switched soil for this grow, going from the pre ferted Miracle Grow stuff to unferted Pro-Mix from Home Depot. Still using plain chemical ferts, but the plants are doing 25% better. Some of it may have to do with how long I let them grow into the one gallon planters, the BOG double potting effect, if you will. Anyway, we will see in a few more weeks what this setup yields per plant. I can't wait.
