Hey guys!

Yeah, outdoors! Thats my prefered method for growing, but I like growing indoors too. Part of the payback for me out of this will be numerous female clones for my outdoor adventures. All these strains are my own outdoor strains, they are beautiful indoors too.

I put the 70w HPS together, and hung it in the veg closet for now, Beast Jr. will be finished soon, and into its new home, the light will go.

You know I think thats probibly the coolest part of all this, the fact you use your own "flavor" of cannabis. Gotta be somethin sweet....

Keep up the great work BC, your grow box is pretty sweet. I am going to design a grow box but not small like yours and its for reflectivity purposes. My 1000 watt just throws the light all over the room. Does your box reflect the light well, it would do even better if you had mylar in there to. YG

Young Giver-I painted the walls with a very good Flat white paint, Mylar reflects 90-95% of light, flat white reflects 85-93%, almost as good with less hassel installing(source of info-Jorge Cervantes).
Why would you build a box for a 1000w?

The clones and such should take off pretty good with that HPS in there now! I cant wait until its completed and installed andto the left we have shelves of buds, then take a look to the right and see bigger buds! By the way, I'm stoned. Remember that Bubbler I told you about? I got it! :yummy: Check it out.

Sweet 3t. I had a sherlock style bubbler that was very similar to that color, I loved that thing. Hope you enjoy breaking it in!!

Yeah, she hits sweet dude. I think I'm in love, hehe. Its nice now because I kinda have a medium piece. Have the pipe, table bong, now the bubbler. The perfect line up, just throw in a swisher for a blunt and I call it a session! Still smokin'...

To add a little, if I may, BACKCOUNTRY.

One of the inherent problems with mylar is that it is flimsy, similar to rolls of fabrics, and unless successfully (and painstakingly) adhered to a flat surface it will form wrinkles and bend in inappropriate places. This can cause hot spots (concentrated light which generates intense heat and intenese UV radiation) to form, which can wreak havoc on a plant. Thus most growers opt for flat white paint. If one is determined to reap the benefits of mylar one could buy a "sun reflector" for cars or inquire into purchasing mylar lined "emergency blankets" and use those to line there grow rooms/cabinets. The problem of hot spots still may arise, however, and must be diligently looked for and corrected.

Very good point!, I am well aquainted with hot spots and the damage they can do, thankyou for pointing that out. I will also point out that you also want to use FLAT WHITE paint, not gloss or semi gloss, or off-white, or you will have hot spots.

It causes burned areas on your leaves where the light is getting concentrated, avoid if at all possible! You want smooth even surfaces.

All I have is my little pipe, all my others have been broken or traded off. But damn, the size and appearance is that which fools most. This peice has lasted longer than any other I have ever owned. I have dropped it on pavement at least three times, and several other times occured upon other hard surfaces. It even has metal chunks imbeded in the outer part from my stupid ass being stoned while whelding. All in all, usually my peices get broken, whether by me or some other stoned ass person. But his one, its the shit. anyway, back to my important task at hand, hittin this damn bowl, and swiggin on some tanqueray :woohoo:

Speaking of hot spots and such... It's time to raise the lights. Looks like we have a singed (sp?) bud, the C99 appears to have gotten a little taller and a top is a little to close to the light and is getting burned. Fed the bitches today! They're looking great, besides the burnt little guy on top hehe. Time to enter not-work time, with the help of the bubbler (still trying to think of a name for her) and some C99, I should feel fine in a minute. :woohoo:

There will most likely have to be plumbing changes today in order to raise the hood. Its a little clutter with the piping that will need to be re-arranged. We'll tackle that tonight and get it going again, as long as the girls dont decide to go through another growth spurt over night. hehe. Stay tuned...

Hey guys! Most of the 2nd wave have had 2 cuts taken, and are now being removed from the veg closet, to a light proof box 12 hours a day, to help force bloom. We will pull the males, and try to find room to bloom as many as we can.
