I spent in total 650 Euro including the hotel, enterance to museums, transport to all over Holland on day trips like Madurodam and Kuikenkoff. etc. But I did not buy alot of weed and smoked a lot with everyone in the Seed boutique.
I did not eat much, mostly went to the supermarket and got stuff from there.
There is a Bagels and Coffee resturant/diner on Leidsestraat that serves an excellent bagel, and is quite reasonable.
Found a Chinese resturant workers kitchen place that served excellent food and was very very reasonable.

Yes Bagels & Beans ( the coffee was in reference to the bean part.)
They are all over (well I actually only saw 2 branches in Amsterdam).
They had excellent value for money bagels and worth eating breakfast there.

I would like to offer a very helpful tip that we recieved after the first couple days and let me say my legs were soooo grateful to meet up with public transportation!...
Here's what cha do... You go to centraal station and there are these photo booths... ya know, like the ones you do with your friends at a carnival... :smile: .. anyway, you get an strip of pictures made and then find your way to the.... to the....
Visitor's Center....
....^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
anyway, You can get these passes when you show them your passport and it cost's 11 euro for a week worth of travel within your zone...
... so then you can look at coffee shop maps figure out where you wanna go and then look at the city tram map and plan your route...
We were so fortunate to be able to step out from our apartment and walk about 10 feet to a tram stop
....
So, the next time, I will defantly take into consideration where the tram stops at... BUT if you are planning on being out later the tram stops running around midnight during the week... i think a lil' later on the weekends....
But for getting around during the day while shopping or just coffee shop hopping it's the least amount of effort and confusion.... I was too scared I'd have a wreck on a bike being all stoned in a strange place, trying to navigate while seeing everything there was to see too... but as a seasoned traveler, I can see where biking would be the best....

Hotel Keizerskracht is where i always stay if not at friends, single 60 euro
doble 70 and 4 person room is 31euro per person for one night, dont know how it is for some days or a week, for sure its cheaper.
I prefer this hotel cause most of the time they have free rooms and its around 150 meter to barneys shop(best bong smoke in town) and maybe 1000meters to central station...

I like the kras its a bit pricey but there rooms and appartments are soooooo nice.
for me the dam hotel is plenty, ....all i did was sleep there i had a tv and my own bathroom with shower all for 35 euro a night and its only 5 minutes from the central station with a breakfast included lol.

Old Pink had taken a lot of us to see a Led Zep Tribute band...
Before the show we all had a few beers and I was fortunate enough to be seated across from Uncle Stoner (he was in the first IC magazine) and he was kind enough to share some fine hash with H3ad and I.... We partied that night unlike we had in a very long time
and I had a blast..................................................................................................................................
