Great thread Ms.Grat3ful it was nice meeting you and Grat3fulh3ad

very sorry to hear of your loss......... condolences.

so you guys had a flat eh? sounds nice. the stairs in that pic are not bad really, you should see the stairs in the Dam hotel i stayed at. talk about steep and my room was in the 4th floor, lol. luckily they have a lift too.

like your canal pics, really brings it all back don't it?

i fully agree the fact that it wasn't official meant that only really dedicated people ended up making it. the only advantage to the official event is that there probably would have been more to judge.

i have to agree with Farmer John on this, most of the cannabis sold in the amsterdam coffee shops is commercially grown. there are a few exceptions but even the best genetics are never as good from a coffee shop as they are when grown by one of us. that was just so clear at the 420. the cannabis the members brought with them was far superior to the coffee shop weed. but thats to be expected as we are connoisseurs and take much more care with what we grow and then the best gets brought along to share, so is it any wonder that it beets most of the coffee shop produce.

hey you took a pic of the dam hotel lol...

peace out

gaius

Kobe's was a place that a generous friend treated us to dinner...

and again, even though i am a very picky eater and not one to try a bunch of things, this adventure made me step out of my normal eating habits and even try some asian food...... :chin: i think it was called chicken tepinyaki, but I am certain that is not spelled right... but it was pretty good... :D .. esp. after being so darn stoned and a little liquored up from the wine:smoke:
If you could see H3ad's face, you would see that he was amazed :yoinks:
.....................................................................................................
Anyway, Thanks again for dinner:ying: ..... :D .....

well Hazy... I don't know what spices and things they used to cook with the chicken but yeah chicken and rice cooked on that grill with what ever they used to make it 'teppenyaki'.. i guess... but still, for me, I am a very picky eater and usually will not touch asian food, and the fried veggy plate they brought before the chicken was not so much to my liking..lol... :biglaugh:

Originating in Japan, "teppanyaki" - meaning steel grill - is the food preparation style where meat and vegetables are cooked and eaten off of a large table-top grill called a "teppan." Traditionally, these meals were prepared on a small grill by families, however it has developed into a highly refined and beautiful form of expression, characterized by an intricate combination of presentation and knife skills.

teppanyaki is "Teppan Style" that is served with teriyaki

too much.

a tram will take you there for much less, with the money you save you can easily get a few grams and a drink at your nearest coffeeshop.

yeah taxis are a waste of money, maybe if you have tons of bags its worth it from central to the hotel but then i'd rent a bike, thats the most enjoyable way to move around in amsterdam.

I don't want to HiJack the thread, but could someone PM me a answer to this question. Don't want to go off topic, but seems to be the place to ask with all the members viewing this thread that went. I was wondering "How much did a single person" spend while in Adam for spending money. I'm just wondering for next year. Was alittle curious on what to bring in cash and what to draw out of a atm machine. Love the thread Ms. G. Sorry, if i Jacked your thread.
Take care,
BG

If you want to spend as little as possible then I would recommend staying at a Hostel, just make sure you check out the reviews cause some of them are pretty horriable I hear. U can also get a private room for a bit more, just make sure you book a couple months in advance.
I will be paying $220 Canadian for 5 nights, as oppose to the avarge $200 per night in a hotel. No idea what food/drink, museums ect will cost me.
