It's just stuff that was stolen and you are not telling the whole story. Sounds like you where mixing with the wrong crowd and went back to the same crowd. The guy is obviously mutual friends with your neighbors. They stood up for him against you. He did not go to your property staring fights or casing the joint for his next robbery. You started the fight at someone else's house and decided to back down. Now you are saying the neighbors took your kindness for weakness and you feel raped? Be honest with yourself. If you feel like he fucked your ass over material possessions well sir... You indeed got punked. No question.

In a town of 500 word spreads fast and social circles are small. Your friends still deal with this guy for a reason. Your own uncle sees you as one of the guys that had his house robbed. They not only knew where you lived. They knew where the pounds of weed where, they knew where all the money way lying around. They knew where to find the guns. None of that shit was hidden? They robbed an empty house, not held you at gunpoint. Smells like an inside job to me. They even knew when no one would be home. A country farm home with no pack of mean ass dogs? Or did someone with him know the dogs, and stash spot of all the crap worth stealing? I bet your uncle is pissed you broke the rules of dealing and he paid the price. Happens in big cities, small towns, prisons. Not saying you robbed your family but you are responsible for bringing the heat and showing them where to look for his gear. You should try to have a hear to heart talk with your uncle and be 100% honest with him. But right now you sound like a victim looking for long lost sympathy.

Talking about illegal guns, being a dealer, and personal details about yourself on an online forum said you still have a big mouth. Reasons enough to dis associate with you from my point of view.

Thats how it is in the drug world, thats why when a murder is drug/retaliation related they dont seem to investigate as hard. Its part of the game very often.

Me i have a family, so i dont deal with retaliation, i am not a cocaine dealer, in some instances some people will think you are weak if you let people fuck you but since you are not 100% sure of them doing it, you cant kill him/them or bash his/their face in. If you had 100% it would be much easier, you know this, i know this, i just had to remind you....

I would take pause, step back and realize that literally every other person you've mentioned in this thread, from a town of 500, is working against you. From the dude himself, his girlfriend, your neighbors, your mutual "friend" who helped steal your stuff, all the way to your uncle. Nobody has taken your side, even in the version of the story that is coming straight from you, and only from you. Either you are the oblivious asshole in this story (due to something you're not telling us, or honestly don't realize) and it still hasn't dawned on you, or you need to get the hell out of that town and make better friends. Life certainly isn't going to get any easier in a tiny town that is apparently set against you, where you've now identified yourself as a hothead AND a mark.

No need for regret my man. You needed to get it off your chest, and get some perspective.

You got some advice, but most importantly, you got a little support. We feel your pain. We've been there. We can relate.

There is a time and place to retaliate with extreme prejudice, and a time and place to just walk away.

The hard part is to determine which option is best when you feel violated and angry. In my case, blackmail was something I had to deal with swift and hard, or else the guy would have just tried it again had I knuckled under.

You handled it right. But I still stand by my previous statement. If you must retaliate, do it fast, do it hard, and make it clear it'll be worse the next time. That is the only thing some people understand.

Yes but not for the reason you might be thinking. If you are "Weed dealers" and/or have an illegal grow on your property, then you should always be trying to avoid anything that might bring LEO out to your place. Public fights can lead anyone in the vicinity to call 911 and report it. Also loud/wild parties. Also not maintaining your property well. All are things that could bring the cops where you don't want them...your place. Your outward appearance in your neighborhood should be that of a polite, friendly but keeps to himself/herself neighbor.

Sure it might be satisfying getting revenge but would it be as good if as a result you also got busted for dealing and ended up in jail or prison? For your best security there are lots of things you need to think thru carefully. For example, I know a grower who had a small closet grow in an apartment (not really a good idea to start with) he was bothered by an upstairs neighbor who was having a wild party one night. So he called the police to complain. He thought the cops would just go to where the party was and tell them to turn it down. Well they did but after coming to his place first and asking to come in so they could see just how disrupting the noise level was. My friend had a grow going and it had that typical musky veg stage smell stinking up more then just the closet. He became convinced the cops realized he was growing and would probably keep an eye on him and so for safety's sake he tore the grow down the next day.

Now if this guy is out roaming around somewhere late one night and happens to run into a baseball bat from out of nowhere...
