That was a fresh sticky trap Cella. The ranks are dwindling. Although, I'm not sure what you see there is the actual enemy. They look an awful like green lacewings. On other traps I found bugs alot smaller that resemble worms. Those are the thrips. I hit everything with Spinosad again 1 week after the initial spray. Beneficial insects typically aren't affected by Spinosad...so that fortifies my assertion that the bugs on the trap are Green Lacewings.
At this point, I don't care who I have to eliminate to get things under control. Good bugs, bad bugs.....it's over Johnny.....time to pay the rent.
Things are perking up too. The only thing I haven't re-sprayed are the plants way more than halfway through flowering. I did place freshly sprayed and dried plants in with them. My hope is that as any remaining thrips move around, they ingest some of the material from the ones I just dropped into 12/12....that should put the final kibosh on them. In the meantime, I'm keeping the heat on the new mommas you saw pictured above, and of course the clones that I just took from 2x sprayed older mommas that were about to be retired.
First batch of Opium I got to vape. Very heady. I can pull off some stuff I could ordinarily never do with weed as it's drying: smoke semi-wet or wet bud. The vaporizer just vaporizes the crystals right off the plant matter, and gives it a kinda "quick dry". Since you're not smoking it, the fact that the bud hasn't cured matters a bit less.
You still get banging flavor, and a whallop to the head.
Of course, it's always best to use the properly dried and cured buds...but if you just can't wait to taste something....the option is on the table with the Volcano. I used to have to microwave a few popcorn nuggets and then blast 'em in the bong to accomplish the same feat.....
With the vapor temperature set up around 409 degrees F....it's almost possible to pluck a fresh nug off a plant and get right to it!

I have two comments on GAS.

1. In college we were blessed (or cursed) with GAS on many occasions. The most memorable being a homecoming weekend when I got a phone call that said go look in your front closet. Well, I open the door and sure enough my buddy had been up that morning popped into our house and dropped off a 6 footer....you know the rest of the story. two days of non stop balloons.

2. Baltimore Civic Center Grateful Dead----Raven Space. If you have not heard it--get a copy. Not the Dentist---Enough drilling for one night.

i swear a good racy sativa can give me the crickets sounds/sensations, where i just feel really dizzy out of it echos if i over do it. but its usually only momentary, 30 seconds-a minute on and off. weed plays tricks by not only releasing the memories but also the feelings of whatever your thinking about.. ive had strains that have unlocked memories that made me feel every damn wound on my body from years and years past. right down to a scabbed up knee from the 90s. not the intense pain of the injury..but the location of the injury will tingle and you will feel what it was like when you were healing from it...strains which i wouldn't want to do again, lol.. but i've had some that have given me the feelings of other substances i've partaken in too..and slight wahwah crickets from time to time, depending on the raciness or doneness of the girl. kinda strange to think the human mind stores this data on pain injury site and sensations as a memory tucked way deep .. wonder what the reason is. but that's another convo .. lol ..over a bowl ..
