The Guava and Hash Plant are just over a year old, and the Blueberry was transplanted into it's first pot in the beginning of October. All are in 3ga pots. I have been experimenting with bonsais for a few years now, it's a fun process if you have the time/patience :) Pictures of the 1.5ga moms coming soon!
What do you feed them?organic nutes?

heres my new bonsai lady. she is from this purple brick bud lady I had 2 grows ago. she was grown/flowered under a 150 watt led light. she is outdoors now under the sun but the plan is to put her back under the led light soon when the other lady under the led light now is finished. also might try to take some clones from her.
also might/or might not repot her into a lil bit bigger pot to get bigger roots.

rudiger ur plants look killer healthy. Im hopen to get my plants that small and bushy. :)

:tiphat:

it is done with frequent rootpruning and complete changing of the medium.
i prune circa 70% of the total rootmass.
some strains like, some dont like it.
it is very important not to feed until new growth appears.
and keep moist not wet otherwise the open wounds could rot.

Has anyone tried this in airpots?

My precise question, and please excuse me if this has already been addressed, is would you still need to trim if using airpots?

Thanks all!! Peace, love, and safety!

Hey ya'll, glad I stumbled upon this thread again. Remember something like this back on OG, guess i'm gonna have to catch up on this one. Definitely something I needed to be reminded of. Keeping a nice set of bonsai mothers and rotating them out every year or two from an even larger tissue culture mother collection is what i'm planning to do if all goes well with the TC but that's still a few years off maybe ;). Ya'll take care 1

Does anyone keep their moms in airpots? If so, do you root trim? My apologies if this has already been addressed. I've asked one or two times and gotten no response. And before anyone jumps the gun, I did go through all of the pages; it took me two days and countless volcano bags....sooooo, I may have missed it.

Stay safe, keep your mouth shut, and live in love!

Somebody? Anybody? Just make me feel special and give a response? Maybe? Possibly? =0)

No, I don't keep them in airpots... actually, I don't keep moms at all (not yet)... but at least you can feel special now that you got an answer (even if it's just a crappy one) :D :D !
I don't see why airpots shouldn't work.
