...you know pictures don't do justice but here is a shot that gives you a hint of what she looks like NOW, ...it looks like she will yield WAY better this second time through the cycle!

Does anyone dido their clones in aloe fillet? If not whats the best rooting compound? Also, is just placing cutting in water better? Finally, is it better to foliar cuttings several times a day or leave in a dome. Thanks for answers. I'm a clone chump and need to perfect ASAP.

It really depends on who you ask. I have tried powders and gels of a lot of brands. I really like Clonex. The consistency of the gel is perfect to me and I have had great results with it, even clones in used coffee grounds under a milk jug with the bottom cut off.

Sorry for DP...forum newb. Trying to move this to clone thread, delete, or just edit.

You can't move or delete the post, only the mod for this section and supermods can move and delete the post. You can only edit it.

Has anyone used air pots for keeping mums?! They do have a .3L size I'm considering. So how do you edit? Thanks.

I use air pots, but the smallest that I've seen are 1 liter and I used them for a couple of years. However, since I use Blumats, it gets to be a damn tight squeeze in there, and the discharge tube can completely overshoot the pot if you aren't careful. I've found that using the 3-liter size and cutting them off to the same height as the 1-liter works great and doesn't take up any more room because the plant is bigger around than the pot anyhow.

You're the first I've seen use the air pots w/blumats. I think that'd be an ultimate combo. 3g/watt type stuff. Really, imagine a 10-15 gal, mats, and living soil...one day.

This lady I reveged over the winter.
So I took a knife and cut 4 inches around the root ball while still in the pot and she reveged great. mush greater than I thought she would have doing it this way.
heres what she looked at the start of the revegetation process
on 12-27-2013.

this is around 7 to 8 weeks later. reveged with only 2 lil led light bulbs.

So you cut the rootball and just left it? I'm going to try this soon, but cut 4" square and put it in a 5" square pot with rich soil. Wish me luck...
