I’m just sharing my experience. I’ve smoked sour back in the day and neither of these remind me of that at all. I’d like to try an ecsd and out and see how it compares to these. I’d like to rerun the Albany under some HIDs and cut it earlier just to see what’s up. Overall it’s been a nice plant and I’ll hang on to it a bit more. Your wing wang looks nice btw!

Please don't take my post as a critique, your plants look great. It just looks different from what I know, that's all. I will say your latest pics, the buds themselves do look closer to what I'd expect to see.

They both got fairly bulbous calyx’s but doesn’t express well under my light. My buddy grew the AJ too and his looked way different. The top flowers on both of my plants looked way different than the lowers. The tops on both experienced some light bleaching on a few of the calyx’s as well.

Ahh shit man I was high and looked at that thread before I came here to post. Idk why I thought it was yours my bad. I don’t mind the critique either. Thanks though I feel like I grew both of these pretty well. I’m just here to share what I experienced and maybe help others out. I think we are all here cause we all love that specific plant so much and are all just in search of any sort of knowledge on it that we can find. Hope everyone’s enjoying their afternoon.

Here’s some more shots closer to the end. Kinda wild cause everyone says sour goes 11 weeks and this gal was ready to call it quits inbetween 8-9 weeks. I pushed her to 10 and she was well done by then. View attachment 19173381 View attachment 19173382

You sure it wasn't the Original Diesel clone , DNA had that cut for a year or so in Amsterdam around that time and someone used to grow the flowers for them of any varieties they had and sell it at Grey Area Coffeshop ( Chocolope, La con , Martian Mean grean etc etc) at the time DNA and everyone was calling it Sour Diesel

D passed the original Diesel as the ecsd.
he said they(DnA) where always mixing up that and their og.

Some outdoor AJ, she threw some real chonkers but not much of a smell in flower. The finished flowers lacked any kind of smell and I ultimately decided to just use the whole crop for edibles.

I traded Albany for Chaco with hash nerd and honestly the flower isn't differentiable when finished to me.

Hey any tips and tricks to growing the Albany cut or links to some good information? I hear this one can be finicky! Or a mentor for this grow from someone with experience would be much appreciated. I only have 5 grows under my belt but goof yields and good smoke so far. I should add it is in a 30 gallon pot of living soil.

Try and keeps temps down. Make sure your soil is nutritious because having to fix anything because of deficiency etc can cause problems, especially on sour, a strain that likes to be happy at all times

I've smoked Ojd Original Diesel at piffcon from his crew . Joint to the head in the mix of Heavy Haze

Classy top shelf gentleman smoke is what comes to mind . That back in the day chronic with no name .
The one thing that stood out in flavor to me was that classic Ghani what i call cologne taste . Nothing Diesel

The DNA Original diesel/ whatever parent they used in Sour Cream was what I knew as straight Sour Deez I grew up on. The Sour cream tasted like hood diesel

But I didn't get any of that flavor in the ojd Original diesel from piffcon

No, definitely didn't say that. Was sent a clone for payment so idk what you mean about robbed. Which chat I'll go try to find it?

I sent my soil off for testing. From there I will amend accordingly. Any tips on staying ahead of the plant? Extra nitrogen nor phosphorus in flower etc? Thanks

This is supposed to be sour diesel Albany cut. I transplanted it into living soil about a week ago. I noticed before I planted it a little discoloration in the leaves. It has gotten a little more noticeable but not terrible. I have read hear that this cut can be finicky. I just wanted to get your alls opinion on what it could be. I kept the lights pretty high for the first week and now I have lowered them down yesterday. I don’t notice that it is any better or worse. Also what VPD should I shoot for with this strain? I have the ac infinity humidifier, heater, fan amd AI controller. Thank you all for any guidance!
