Hey people, a little update.

My favorite pheno collecting lots of pollen:

I bought a pack of industrial hemp seeds from a little fishing shop to be used for fishing. I planted some to see what hemp looked like but they flowered really early and started making nice resin early on so I had to test to see if they were the "real" deal. Cut some buds, let them dry and smoked them, and surprisingly they knocked me on my ass after about 8 or so pulls, so I got about a 300g bag of dank Asian seeds (I think there Thai judging by origin and appearance) for R15! Good deal if you ask me.

Hey man, glad you asked. There wasn’t much action on this thread so I stopped posting.

The taller swaz was harvested and all the seeds were collected.
The Swazi with the broader leaves is still flowering, but because it started flowering in late spring, it’s now reverting back to veg like it should naturally be in this time of year. So unfortunately she’s a lost cause and will be killed cos she’s taking up valuable room in the garden.

Here’s the best Thai female from the bunch, transplanted into her own pot with much better soil. As you can see she too off a bit. I’m saving her to be flowered when the DP I planted is old enough to be flowered and hopefully pollinate some of her buds with some dank DP pollen. I’ll call the cross Thai poison or something like that, got any ideas?

A fem DP x Skunk#1 I found growing in the old Durban Poison plot. One of the seeds must have fallen there while harvesting her DP mom a while back:

I so miss the real Swazi and Durban poison and Transkei that I used to score back in the 80's before I left JHB.

Hey Guys,
I have Durban Poison seeds from both Afropips and Seedsman. I have 5 plants going now, unfortunately all the rain we have had has washed off the names from the pots. Not sure which is which. Any information or advice on growing these would be much appreciated.

if you check the sites - Seedsman's Early Durban is an F1 skunk hybrid... Afropips is a long-flowering Durban

I managed to get my hands on some of the old African Seeds Durban so I am curious to see how that does
