Afghan Kush Ryder not flowering yet

My Afghan Kush ryders were put into 12/12 after 3 weeks vegging because ive been reading threads about them taking so long. They(2) have been in flower about 25 days.
Trichomes(err spelling) began showing at about day 21 in flower. Not alot of smell but getting better. Buds starting to fill. I'll try to post up some pics soon.
Read on other forums of everyone having the same trouble but others have found 12/12 makes them flower at about 12 days of 12/12 just like most regular indicas.

I've been looking at my Early Wonder Skunk wondering when am I going to see budding... they are a month old and only a couple pistils (2-4) on each... not really what I expected from VSB and solar warrior, and i argee with the above statement that the industry should label different autos differently. ya.

im stoked i can just flip these bitches into 12/12 and then grow some real genetics, I have lowlife ak47 and joint doctor easy ryder to do side by side comparison, plus a white dwarf to put me to sleep

i m now 29 days flower. going to run another 2 weeks or so before i cut one. I have them in 12/12 next to kc mango and nirvana ww. the AKR will be my very 1st harvest of anything as i am on my 1st grow. Mine are filling in nicely but the orig idea was to have a quick finishing auto while waiting for the mango and ww. Plans have changed and i treated the akr just like the others.
I am going to post some pics but not on my home pc using home camera. Call me old school but im still in a very unfriendly state.

well here are some pics as best i could do at the time.
The one showing several plants(#16) the AKR is in the middle and back left. These are at 29 days flower after 3 weeks veg.
the last one is the best close up i could get

my biggest struggle is room temps as im using nothing but portable ac's. No central and no wall

32 days flowering now and they are starting to fatten. I think at 45 to 50 days in 12/12 will be enough as it looks like a quick finishing indica

I know yield would have been much higher if i would have let them auto but it looks like a 4 month total run from seed. Very deceptive as most doing auto want something around 8 to 10weeks from germ .

so notes so far for others on
AKR: it does auto flower but it is not a quick finisher by anymeans, expect about 8 weeks for it to start budding.

It will bud under 12/12 and acts much like a regular indica

Also note it has almost no smell so far and im at 34 days flowering. Just starting to turn hairs. Possible good strain for those with smell worries

Potency: unknown so far but i doubt its even half the THC boasted by WOS

i see they are mostly still white hairs. Mine looks like yours. Gonna leave it til the hairs mostly if not all change

sorry to hear you had to chop early. Was there a main cola? i cound not really tell .
Mine both have onne main and about 4 secondary then the popcorns.
I think if i let it go a few more weeks the smell will kick in. I will not buy this strain again but still plan on enjoying these. I think about and ounce each dried but ill never know as scales are forbidden at my location.
im at 36 days flower now. gonna cut just a couple popcorns next week to try out

yes there is its crazy ,i started with with 10 now down to 7 and i believe after tomorrow 6 due to seeing signs of balls on yet another one ,i had gottin a order from well wont tell who i bought from . and none germed so i emailed the vendor and they were more than happy to send more (I WAS SO SURPRISED ) thats some real gooood business .....but in the email he apologized for me ordering these. not for them being no good and now i understand ( not stable at all ) im just glad they sent me some more .. would you happen to have photos of them ,so i can compare mine to. they are really small and i dont know what to do .

photo's of all plants are in my album. i only managed to get 3 females out of 10 seeds, and very unstable strain. i have a "lollipop" pheno, a central cola with 4 secondary colas pheno and an extremely bushy pheno that is slow growing but i think she will be the big producer of the group. i have a grow diary:

lowdr........ i just checked out the pics and wow... they look great . see i must have a shitty batch mine are oooooh about 1/2'' to 3'' at 30 days well seeing yours makes me think its not the seed its most likely me .... good job my friend ...............

Update on Afghan kush ryder

after 3 weeks veg plant was put into 12/12 to induce flowering after learning these take about 2 months to start auto flowering and about 2 months to flower also.

well after 6 weeks in flower i cut some buds. They are tight compact nuggs and yes they smell great and taste great. I have not cut the main cola yet but its turned out to be some reall good shit just takes a long time compared to most auto's. I imagine if i never induced flower that this would be one big monster for sure. gonna cut my 2 colas in the next week but im very happy the side buds are tasety and potent.

final note on AKR

I let one go to over 7 weeks now just in flower and 3 weeks veg. mUCH STRONGER AND Potennt than i org thought. This is some fairly dank stuff
