Afghan Kush Ryder not flowering yet

photo's of all plants are in my album. i only managed to get 3 females out of 10 seeds, and very unstable strain. i have a "lollipop" pheno, a central cola with 4 secondary colas pheno and an extremely bushy pheno that is slow growing but i think she will be the big producer of the group.

I also got a lollipop pheno, but it is on the lowlife auto hindu kush. It is turning out to be the biggest producer as well.

So here is an update on my second go round with Afghan Kush Ryder. I origanally bought 10 feminized. I also had 5 White dwarfs. The white dwarfs have long been chopped with a marginal amount of bud. The original Kush ryders were germinated the 1st week of April. What looked to be buds developing turned into clusters of leaves. I finally got pissed and dug a hole, filled it with organic soil and planted them in my back yard about 3 weeks ago. One of the feminized seeds turned out to be a male. At a foot and a half tall I collected some pollen and chopped him. The remaining four plants are now almost 2 feet tall and still no sign of buds. The other five were germed a month later and they are acting the same way. Has anyone heard that these were not actually auto's. At this point I will let them grow into fall and see what happens. Grimkeeper, I know you had some issues as well. At this point I would say no as to the viability of these being an auto and advise anyone to steer clear. As a side note, I just got 10 mandala 1"s, 10 hashberry and 10 satori. I germed them all in soil per mandala's grow/faq and got 100% germination. They all popped in 3 days. That is impressive.

afghan ryders are not 100% auto. they could be classed as late season auto's. about 2month veg time them they flower from what ive read. i personally wouldnt touch them with a barge pole!

I contacted seed vendor and they quickly replied and referred me to WoS, whom I've already queried without a reply, so I'm not optimistic for any positive resolution. If they just stepped up, sent me a pack of regular beans of ANYTHING, I'd be happy, and would be able to overlook this, but I bet they won't even reply. I'll be sure to post results.

the industry is shady, we need two classes of autos becasue of scam artist seedbank b.s.,

1. true auto dwarf=seed to harvest inside 70 days
2. non dwarf auto, starts to bud after 6-8 weeks and flowers for another 8 weeks.

i feel for u with the afhgan kushies, live n learn.

I have an afghan ryder that has been growing for 4 months, it's a healthy looking plant, but, it's definetly not an AF. guess I'll switch to 12/12 lighting.
