Yah just give them a nice feeding and see what happens, I predict your newer leaves will green up and your buds will start swelling more.

My great great grandfather Olie and his brother Olav were of all things, beans farmers from what I've read. They came to the U.S and started up here.

I have a timer set to have 4 hours of pure dark once a day. I usually water right before it goes off. I'll start feeding them again and see what happens.

I'll check the local grow store and see if they have the EC reader. This sounds like a tool that may be used by salt water aquarium owners. I have about 10 fish supply stores within 5 miles of me. Seriously... lol

IF its a conventional growstore like for garden equipment and such then I doubt they will have it, if its a growstore for cannabis related products then im sure they will. Ive never thought about the saltwater aquastores, but they just might have it. There is usually different models of these readers, some can read PH, EC, PPM and water temperature with the same device. These are usually more pricey. The cheaper models usually read only one variable. Ive got like a 150$ thingy that reads everything.

I just wondered if they got any darkness to exclude the possibility of the problem being light saturation. Too much light can cause damage similar to that. Either too many hours or too strong light.

Farmers... :smokeit: :respect: Only the mad and hard farm the Norwegian mountains. Its pretty rough out here, weatherwize, bet thats why they went :D

The newer leaves have begun to green up again. They were just hungry and sapping the nutes from the larger fans. I highly doubt the larger fans will come back. Several have even fallen off. I'm debating if I should trim off the most extreme of the yellow dying ones. What I have been doing is EVER-SO-GENTLY, brushing the stem of the fan where it meets the main stalk. I do this with the same pressure one would use to feel an infants eyelashes. SOFTLY!!!
If it falls off, or loosens up enough where it will fall off, I karate chop it like Sponge Bob does to onions. I just look better doing it. lol

The aroma in the room is dreamlike. It's my favorite room to sit in now.

ooooooooooo I watered the lemon skunk and the hash haze today. One drop of water hit the lemon skunk and it fell over as if the leaves were worshipping. I piled some dirt up around its thin ass stem. It was just enough to keep it upright. I turned the fan up higher to toughen her up a bit.

im glad to hear this m8

Its not uncommon for seedlings to tip over like that, they should stand on their own soon enough.

The first few weeks of flowering require a surprisingly large amount of stored up Nitrogen to be used. I tend to feed N up until 2-3 weeks of flower (reducing as you go).

-= I Transplanted Today=-

So I was checking out the bottom of the pots last night before the dark period. All of the plants had roots sticking out the lower drainage holes. Some of them were 3-4 inches long... The soil was hard to dig into, even though I just watered it earlier that morning.

So I was at a fork in the road. I could wait out the last few weeks and face severe root-bound plants with a lesser yield, or I could risk the stress involved with transplanting and hope that they bounced back in time for harvest. I chose to transplant.

I picked up 2 gallon pots. Filled the bottom with vermiculite, organic soil and a lil organic compost. (All these ingredients are listed and pictured on the first page of this thread.) I mixed them together completely and watered it down. The mix took up the lower 3-4 inches of the new pots, when watered.

I prepared a clean misting bottle filled with pure water. I, ever so gently, pulled the plant from its pot, dirt and all. This was easy to do as the dirts edge was covered in roots, holding the dirt to its shape. I misted the roots as they were exposed to air. With clean handsd, I gently teased the roots with wet fingers until some of the root ends came loose from the knot. The whole thing was placed onto the wet soil in the new potter. I put a couple handfulls of the mix on top of the soil and pushed it down the edges to fill lthe sides. I gently tapped the whole thing on the ground to further force the soil down along the edges. This being done, I watered with pure water and put em back under the lights.

I was reading about harvesting and the appropriate time to harvest. There seems to be a bit of contradiction out there. Is it the color of the hairs protruding from the calyx, or is it the color of the hairs on the bud, or is it the hue and transparency of the trichomes?

I'm using a 30x magnification tool. the trics are about 50/50 clear-cloudy. How long do the oils in the trichomes go between clear, cloudy and amber?

:dunno:

Began flushing last night, dumping a gallon of water in and letting it settle, waiting a few minutes and doing it again. The runoff was goldish in hue. I'm wonderring if it will stain my shower. I'm using organic nutes.

Buds are getting frosty and stinky again. About 30% of the hairs are reddish. I'll post some pics up later.

Below are a few pics from today. All plants are doing well, stanky and sticky. Top colas are equal in height to 3 Bic lighters stacked on top of each other. Almost. Pretty damn close anyways. Whatever, here's pics as promised.

I'm so glad to hear that the nutes won't stain. My life is spared again. *reassures the wife...

Thank you. It's taken a lot of work to get this far and i had a lot of help. I'm looking forward to ganking these plants too. I have the closet prepped for drying and purchased a few jars for curing.

My 2 week old lemon skunk is already wider and taller than the AK! I think its gonna be a monster. (hopefully not another male... It's pretty peppy right now.) I need these trics to amber up more so I can flip the HPS's to the 12-12 for the regular seeds.

looking tasty!

Did you notice a slow down when you repotted or did everything carry on fine?
Did you repot all of them or do you have 1 you didnt repot so you can compare the difference?

My white russians have massive roots out the holes in the bottom, unfortunatly I had a small layer of pebbles at the bottom of the pot to help drainage and the roots have grown through these and I know if I had tryed to repot them I would have ripped the root sytem in half. I cant wait to try out square drainpipes (downpipes) as pots!

BC Chronic: I'm dyin waiting for these puppies to amber up. I was gonna wait til I had at least 20% amber before choppin. That's the plan anyways. I'm quickly growing impatient though. I waited this long, I can wait a bit longer I suppose. I hear it's worth the wait.

Dargo: After I repotted, Growth ceased for 3 days. They have been steadily putting on weight since then. The little bud leaves have been sprouting like mad and the calyxes have been spitting up more white hairs. Harvest seems like it's still at least a few weeks away.

I would not recommend ripping the root ball in half. It just seems counter-productive. :) Good luck with ur grow brother. I hope we both do well.
