One of the plants is ready. 20% amber and has been chopped. Rest have 10% amber and are currently going thru 2 days of pure dark with no water. Pics soon, promise

Harvested pics from one plant. This plant was the runt and finished first. Who knew?!? *shrugs

This plant was done, so I chopped it and hung it up to dry. I touched it as little as possible and my fingers are stuck together. Top cola is of nice size. Can't wait til it's cured.

As mentioned before, the remaining plants are in complete darkness for 48 hours. They were last watered yesterday and will never see water again (unless bong water gets on it for some weird reason).

The seeds are the AF AK-47 (fem) currently available from The Attitude Seed Bank. All plants were started on 24NOV09, as documented on the first page of this thread.

Thanks guys. I had a lot of help and read quite a bit before I began this project. I apperciate all the help.

The Hash-Haze and the Lemon Skunk are doing well. I'll snap a few pics of those and throw em up after I get home from work. My bathroommm looks so sad with the AK gone. :-(

wow your plants look awesome. looks like your going to have an awesome harvest. i have a quick question about your germing, do you keep them in the shot glass until you see them pop out of the shell then transplant them to the peat pellets? and when you put them in the peat pellets do you put them in a certain way? thanks man your knowledge would be great, enjoy your harvest!

It's that time folks. I'm choppin the remaining plants.

I filled a snifter for myself on this one. I kinda feel sad I hafta chop them. I learned so much from them . :-( Ah well. One last good bye pic before they go down.

Oh, the humanity! That was hard to do! My only saving grace is the knowledge that they will be put to good use. That and the lemon skunk and hash haze still perculating in the grow room. (both females btw!!! :yay: )

So another step down. Now onto the drying and curing. They are being hung as pictured, on hangers.... However, I moved them into the closet and closed the door. The flowers aren't touching and it SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN!

Once the branches snap, it's into a paperbag, then into the jars for rotation.


ok ok ok. I smoked a lil popcorn. Guilty. Threw it onto a paper plate and into the oven at 160 for 5 minutes. Breathe 5 minutes, oven 5 minutes. etc... until it was smokable. This method left the trics intact. At least they appeared to be unmarred under the scope.

It smoked clean and white. No funky after taste. No huge cough. And it took all of 30 seconds to feel it. It came on smooth and while 2 hits was more than enough, I felt compelled to finish the bowl. I'ld give this pre-dried, pre-cured AK auto a healthy 8 out of 10. The buzz lasted around 3 hours. Not a huge munchie weed.

Did I mention the stickyness?.... omfg. I decided to harvest by hand like the gents from the "green house seed company" do it in their promo videos. I'm trying to think of words to describe the level of goo, and I'm at a loss. The buds are dense as hell and my fingers make a noise when I try to pull them apart. I rolled my fingers in the palm of my hand and ended up with finger hash! It's about the size of a normal pencil eraser found on the end of a pencil. I saved all the trimming and have "Strung Bags" enroute. Hopefully. I bought them a few days ago from the volstrung site. They looks awesome and I can't wait to try them out! I'll add pics to this string when they arrive and I do the deed.

Thank you brother. The output I got from them is a direct result from researching and listening to great advice from these boards.

I kept them in the shot glass until the seed fell. I figured that the water had permiated the anil to the point that the hormones would be activated and it would be safe to transplant the seeds to wet peat moss tabs with a sterile forcep. I placed them no more then a quarter inch into the pre-watered, loose moss. I lightly covered them so as they wouldn't dry out, but yet stay warm and dark. I did NOT push the moss around it to pack it in. I pretended it fell from the plant into loose soil and was gently rained on. Keeping the moss moist, dark and warm seemed to work out well for me. Thanks for asking.
