I just can't let out the specific trade name but I hope to engage people to do their own research on esoteric concepts that have significant effect on growth processes.

So I think it was Milky that said I should check my dirt for moisture because I was experiencing yellowing. Well, you were right. My well is drying up it appears, and the sprinklers were getting air in the system and not delivering the same amount of water to the plants. The plants never drooped, but they were dryer than I would have wanted for sure. I am off to buy and figure out how to plumb a 1000 storage tank to my well.

Anybody have a good blueprint on how these storage tanks should plumbed?

Bd, I had the same problem plants looked ok but certainly weren't wet enough. Couldn't even get an EC reading, had to scrap the auto watering and hand water to finish.

Cool name bro. We got a 63 1/2 ford galaxy we are thinking about giving the sled treatment to

Thanks. Good to see someone knows what a leadsled is. Most of the youngsters think that means I am into led lights or sledding in the snow...
Nice ride, those are fun little cars. I got a couple projects. Mainly working on a 1950 chevy fleetline.

NP it was long overdue.

:tiphat:

Trying to calculate how much product I should get for a test run.

Going off the Solenacous Crops schedule.
Calculating a modest 1 time a week cycle of 12 feedings using 20 gallons of water.
That is 20 oz of each product for each week. 20 x 12 =240 ounces
16 oz in a gallon. That is 15 gallons of each product needed.

(Going off what my room would normally use. Takes me 20 gallons to water 4 - 4'x4' trays. 9 plants. I use about 1/2 gallon each 5 gallon container. Then at peak of flower some strains would need to be watered daily or every other day. GG#4 is one)

15 gallons of PHT Phorphorus, PHT Calcium, Rejuvenate, Sea Shield basically all the products listed at 1qt per acre.

I am used to the commercial ag products going much further than the dro store.

At first I figured, Ok I will test it out. I could get a gallon of most of the products and then 5 gallons of the ones used in weekly fertigation.
To make sure I get enough products before I order. I did the math. Ow crap! So at 15 gallons that is getting expensive.

Is my math wrong???
AM I missing something obvious or does it costs a few g's for a 4k room.

I use sea crop at 5ml per gallon currently. A little goes a long way.

Maybe would help to know how much any of you purchased and the size of your grow? If any of you do not mind sharing.

Thanks for sharing.

are you basing that off 2 feeds a week @ 1 oz per gallon ?

For indoor @ 1 oz per gallon you could get away with every week or 10 days if your soil has a good EC too

1 qt per 30 acre is usually for foliar.

1 gt is about 950 ml. 16 sq ft...a 4 x 4 table is about 0.0004 acres. So 950 x 0.0004 is 0.3 ml per table for anything bases on a qt. If your table is a ft deep you can double that.

How much water you use to deliver that does not matter.

A little goes a long way indoors

Hey BYF. Thanks for sharing.

I calculated enough for 3 months.
3 weeks veg + 9 weeks flower = 12 weekly feeds aka fertigations.

1 time per week. 12 feeds of 20 gallons @ 1oz per gallon. 15 gallons is alot of nutrients.

Not calculating the products needed for transplant, seed starting and foliar.

example rates: PHT calcium label. 1-2 QT per acre, every 7-10 days.

But I am not fertigating an acre.
1 acre = 43560 square feet

5 gallons = .66 cubic feet.

I "get it" for the foliar rates. I divide the 30 gallons of foliar by 30 to make one gallon.

Did I miss a post where there is a conversion for less than an acre?

Maybe something simple I am missing....

Thanks.
