I'd really like to know how they're heating those shelves for sixty-five hundred dollars.

I tried to order a DZF-6210 from "Zhengzhou Keda Machinery And Instrument Equipment Co., Ltd." Its a 7.8cuft im pretty sure with 3 24"x24" heated shelves. Also comes with vacuum pump and is a pedestal stand unit Info:

Model No.: DZF-6210
Voltage:AC220/50HZ
Input power:2060W
Max temp.:200 C
Temp. Resolution/fluvtuation:0.1/+-1 C
Work environment humidity:+5~40 C
Max vacuum degree:133Pa
Internal size:560*600*640mm
External size:720*805*1680mm
Capacity: 215L
Shelves: 3pcs(Individual Heated)
Timer:1-9999min
Working chamber material:Stainless steel SUS321

The lady sent me pics of it and said it was in stock. I didnt get a chance to order before Tuesday(day they closed for new year), but she emailed back and assured me whenever i wanted to pay they will get it out as soon as the port opens back up in china(march 13th or something) The cost was $6516 plus whatever taxes at the port? I have no idea how much thats going to be. Ill let you guys know when i order and it gets here, but as with mrs mary brown, it probably wont be till end of march.

220 volt 50hz do they say its fine on 60hz and 240v? Assuming you're not in europe

Forgot to mention that company is on alibaba and has trade assurance so you probably wont get screwed over.

Keda is a very large company manufacturing many things, it is were Dabzpro gets their cheaper ovens and rotary vapes. Keda quoted me $630 for their 1.9's (220v), 110v is $180 more.

seems like just grabbing a 1.9 hydrion off ebay would be the almost same price after shipping and taxes. Il order local if im only gonna save a few hundred. But when the savings go into the thousands china is the way to go lol

Since everyone has decided to take leaps in various ways ive decided to take a step out and grab this mac daddy. Without further ado I present the AI 2.3 Elite featuring 5 sided heating, (5) 15.5x15.5 removable shelves, a better PID (than regular series) that doesn't let you adjust the P.I.D. values (they claim to be optimized), does have auto tune, needle vacuum and release valves, a chimney for use over some 200°.
Its been said to have uniform temp throughout the ovens shelves, front, back, n side to side. I tell ya I spent a lot longer asking questions about all the vac ovens than anyone wanted to sit and answer, yet they kept a smile on and matched me question fir answer. I spoke with the sales folk as well as the american side of the engineering. I asked about whats recent, new, and planned for the future. I got the skinny on the internals (outside of the 001101010111 programming) including their version of heating the shelves and adding back fill ports to all the models. I went in thinking I was going to be sold and that I would have to keep these guys at a salesmans arms reach, but instead I met wicked friendly people that like to bull shit about their work. They want to talk about the product they represent, not read a fact sheet from memory. Sorry I havent given any performance specs or opinions, I barely got her outta the box.
Tomorrow I shal find kf25 fittings locally i hope so I can get her running. I do have a question, do I run the auto tune under vacuum or no vacuum? Questions?

The 1.9 oven from Keda, delivered by DHL to Canada was $1180 total. Don't forget to add customs duty and taxes on top.

Nice, please let us know how it performs. Can you supply a model # for us?

I believe auto tune should be run without a vacuum. A very nice toy, keep us informed!:tiphat:

So as to tune to conditions with an atmosphere? I'm lost here. Part of the deal with a vacuum oven is there is no convection of heat by an atmosphere. Thus the uneven heating.

I'd tune it under the condition it will operate.

The instructions from the older models say to run auto tune from room temp and under vacuum. I've found it helps to run it from your specific operating room temp (which for me is a chilly 50-60°):freezing:

Thanks for sharing dab, seems like a good design.

Here we have the internals of the Elite 2.3 :peacock:
Model number is E23
 im thinking of removing the KF25 and putting on a flare or barb. I found some kf flanges for around 30$ but Idk if I want to go that route. My pump isnt kf25 so whats the point?

I unscrewed the kf25 on my 3.2 and put a female barb fitting on. 5 bucks compared to AI's 60 dollar solution.

Me too, I had spare parts so I concocted something to work. However I noticed the thread was different and after a bit of playing around I figured they were different for sure. I noticed the male fit female npt, but when I tried screwing a mnpt into the kf25 back side it didnt go passed the second thread. I tried it on the barb and same thing. So I taped the barb up and fastened til it was good. Didnt work I dont think, didnt get enough time to figure out the issue but I cant get it to vac down passed -.09 cmhg. I think im going to replace those copper lines with SS. Im sure ill snap one sooner or later so im going to plan on the swap now. That and the jank ass cmHg gauge to be an electronic gauge.

what digital gauge are you going to use? The instructions say to not change the gauge but I'd like too if I can figure it out.

For one I dont know the metric system and I rather not learn it, with all the other things I stretch myself thin to do. Two, the very first time I used it the needle was jumping down. No heat, no product, just vac.

Changing shit out is a delicate flower if you have an elite, due to the welded copper lines, but them regular buggers have silicone lines. They will eat up with the tane, as the youngster showed me. Microscopic holes in it, when you bend it you can see. Changing that gauge would be super simple for you I think, I dont remember exactly what she looked like inside but I remember saying every part looked super simple to change out, not one thing looked tricky. They just warn us like we dont deal with fittings that need to be taped and tight.. my gauge has one line sticking out of it with a copper easy connect. So long as I pay attention to not kink the copper im golden.

My oven is lined with cotton... 3" of cotton sheets. I was going to remove it and give a show all to the class but behind inch number one is all the fancy wiring tied down.
