if you could choose either the malawi or the golden tiger which would you choose and why?

Every pheno is different so you just have to grow them all, from what I am reading its the only way to find that special one. You cant go wrong with either of them, but why choose do both, time is short, dont waste it.

Hi MadMac, Dubi, I just got some Ace feminised malawi for my next grow and I plan on vegging only for three weeks before flipping to 12/12.
How much does the malawi stretch in flowering and is three weeks enough veg time considering they take 14 - 15 weeks to flower ?

welcome to the club
well 3-4 week veg will be ok... if the plant is 30cm then you can expect 100-120 cm depend on pheno... best is to slog or bind them down if you have height problems...

I have never grown a pure sativa before, always stuck with indicas and hybrids because of shorter flowering times, but I have always wanted to grow a Malawi, having heard so much about its devastating high.
Below are some pics of my current Malawi grow at day 45 of 12/12 from seed. Also got a purple haze in there behind the malawis.

small update with better pic's...
looks like some need food and i gave her some...
bud's still going bigger and need support...
very very happy with the result so far...
1 Malawi & 1 GT have the biggest buds i have had in my Grow time and they still getting bigger..

Candy Kush... need one week more... second flush yesterday... this seed germinated from 5... so it's only to compare the result with the ACE Gear

He probably deleted the pics from his album to make more room.. Mac is a legend in my mind.. dude inspired me to try GT indoor in a cabinet and I’ve never looked back. He still has active threads in other areas of ICMAG and iirc might even have some seed available to buy somewhere.
If you look for more posts by him you’ll probably find his Haze thread... he’s doing really great stuff with all kinds of Haze lines lately

Yes, MadMac fibers are perfect. This is how I imagine quality cultivation with attention and affection for plants.
