That sounds like a great idea to help control a stretchy variety! I think 8 would be good to fill each space, but if it's ever a question, try half of each then you'll know!
I'm excited, how are those beans doin, lol
For all who are tuned in and are familiar with mainlining, my question is 8 or 16 colas?
It looks like one of the 12 has germinated as of this morning. I expect the rest to do the same today or tomorrow.

Yeah, 3. Hopefully it's the SJ, orca tent?
You like the SJ tents for their reflectivity characteristics?
I'm going to need one soon or just paint the walls with the Timmur paint....heh

Picture update! Popping seeds on Sunday! I'll post up pics when they sprout.
Still a little cluttered and I'm putting Orca on the floor, but it's finally time to go!

might that not depend on the cultivar? i don't practice it myself
I tried it once and I find 8 colas is a great deal between time you need and the final result. At least for me it takes way too long to get 16 colas mainlined.
..patience padawan.....patience........

And now 8 have popped. Only need one more for a full run!
On this site they say the difference between 8 and sixteen was not that much.

"......so after all the bud is gone.....and there was a lot of it!......"8 heads" yielded 6.67 zips with zero larf on a 32 inch plant, "16 heads" yielded 7.31 zips with zero larf on a 27 inch plant!!!!...".
I take it these are fem's?
One thing to keep in mind about the link I posted. And that is it is done in soil and not hydro like your room. You could get way different results because you dont need to grow as many roots to get the nutrients like soil needs.
