Thanks Mr GreenJeans, been a long time since I have been so absolutely smitten by a woman. Actually, I don't think I've ever had as intense a feeling for someone ever... and I've been married twice!!!

Speaking of intense feelings, man my Big Cindy came out just killer! It is by far the most powerful sativa I have ever smoked. One hit will give you a good buzz, two hits will stone you and three will make you wonder if you shouldn't have stuck with two... just some powerfully good weed. For you newcomers to the Bud Shack, Big Cindy is a c99 pineapple pheno that was crossed with a beautiful male Bubblegum/BC Big Bud. I have been working on this cross for the past year and am simply ecstatic about the results from this harvest. Very little leaf, easy to trim, nice big buds, great yields and a powerful stone, plus a very short flowering time (50-60 days) makes for a killer cross.

It's about time I show you the current grow in flower, don't ask me what day they are on because quite honestly... I have no idea! Actually, I have three different flowering times ranging from a few days to probably close to a month. As a refresher, this grow is composed of H3ad Seeds G13 Diesel and BOG's BMR (Blue Moon Rocks). The G13 Diesel (G13 x ECSD v3) was a disappointment in my previous attempt, not because of the genetics, but because of my lack of time to devote to the grow. This time around things are different, and I can finally show the G13 Diesel as it should be seen, so let's take a look:

I really like the plant structure of H3ad's G13 Diesel, as you can see the plant looks as if it was trimmed or trained, however, nothing was physically done to them. I believe the even growth is actually due to a combination of plant genetics and the T5 grow lights used in veg. I can't speak highly enough of the T5's they are simply awesome, and the plants really branch quickly and evenly which makes for an incredible amount of bud sites as you can see. I will be doing an incross with a nice looking male just so I can have a few seeds for some future grows, I really love the plants structure as the bottom branches are basically even with the main cola. This should be an incredibly heavy yielding cross the H3ad's have come up with. No real aroma yet, but the buds are starting to sparkle. All of the plants are similar in structure and appearance with no variation.

BOG's BMR I had done several grows back, and was very pleased with the results. In this grow I have two different phenos, a nice bushy, bud laden variety, and a large leafed vertical phenotype that looks all the world like a Sour Bubble. Let's take a look shall we?

I will also be making a few seeds to replenish my BMR supply, as I guess we won't be seeing the old man around for awhile. Such a pity, I miss the shameless self promotion of the Bogster, not to mention his wonderful genetics. Wherever you are BOG, I hope you're doing well!

A New Year Begins...

A New Year Begins...

Greetings Friends!

A new year is upon us, and I hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday season. Personally, I had a super holiday as my beautiful 420 gal stayed with me through the holidays, and will hopefully stay for much, much longer. It's actually quite nice sharing a bowl with the woman you love, and is something I haven't experienced for many, many years. Hopefully, we'll be able to go to Amsterdam in April for a little 420 fun, she's quite excited to see the place.

As the new year begins, Grow11 enters its final stages of flower, with the buds starting to gain mass and color, as well as a healthy dose of sugary coating. The plants are all staked now with the lower branches supported for the increase in weight, and only a few feedings remain before they go on their pure water diet. I recently pollinated a few lower branches of both the BMR and G13 Diesels with their respective male counterparts, as I am quite impressed with both crosses and they will always have a place in future gardens.

Let's take a quick look at the garden and see how the girls are faring:

"complicated" as of late it's hard to find the time to do all the fun things I used to have time for But things are great here, and indeed it is very nice to be smitten by love during the holidays. And Neptune, thank you. Big Cindy is one of the best plants I have grown, both in yield and power. I like it alot! But you never know, the plants in flower now are looking mighty good.... and smelling mighty damn good too!

fallenangel - Happy indeed, never been happier! Things are going so well now I have to pinch myself on occasion to be sure it's not just some fantastic dream! And you never know, someday Big Cindy might just show up in the darndest places.

trichomefarmer - Hey TF! Happy New Year to you! It would be great to actually take your wonderful bike tour sometime, can't believe I got sick and missed it last year.

For those of you unfamiliar with my garden, I use a very simple setup of two 1k HPS lamps (air cooled) and soil filled containers in an air conditioned environment. I also use an oscillating fan for increased air flow. The plants are hand watered, and I add nutrients by feel... I never measure anything. In case you're wondering what the plastic bags are doing on the plants, this picture was taken after I had pollinated several branches. The buds are enclosed in the bags for 2 days to help prevent accidental pollination. After all, it would be a shame to have buds like these with seeds:
