Amen! I mixed some BSv2 pollen with some old {frozen a few years} Federation Romulan dust, gifted from a friend...onto
my SDIBLxSFVOG BX. Only popped two and got one female...this gal...

View Image

Shit like this makes me wish I could speed up nature. Then again the wait makes it that much rewarding.

Keep it classy San Diego...

Man...I used to grow Romulan. Wish I had my clone back...I'd be breeding the hell out of her. Haven't had Romulan in at least 7yrs. You are making some cool and interesting beans there

Taking Down a Hell Hound IX1 "Vine" Expression

Taking Down a Hell Hound IX1 "Vine" Expression

Day 68....this one had to be parted out...in order to get her harvested away from the flower studio

^ Her top flowers. An aggressive plant...she put out some mighty healthy and stinky flowers. The resin from her...becomes uncomfortable on the hands/fingers...gets everywhere

^ That was her bottom 1/2. I was able to move her out of the flower studio...after she was cut down to this size

^ One of her seeded flowers. She did well for me

* The "Vine" expressions found in Hell Hound...as previously mentioned...come from the Odessa side of the genetics. This is very obvious. I can still see the deepness Casey Jones goes...even now...well removed.

** Desirable sativa hybrid. I love vaporizing vine expressions...love cultivating...love breeding them on. Indoor sativa hybrids..acclimated to my particular habits and micro environment. We'll continue on and on...until I find it just perfect.

On a Wall

On a Wall

....this is what is lined up

^OG Jam leaning Hell Hound IX1 on day 53...started flush day 51. I messed up here...and didn't pollinate her. This is a really nice expression...all business. Showed intersex weeks 3-4 but is now very mellow. Stinks like hell....resinous as hell...productive as hell.

^ Now this bitch is kind of crazy. She's a Hell Hound IX1...and if I had to guess...she's leaning somewhere in the diesel...but I really have no idea..more my reaction is: she is something of a freak.

She showed a lot of intersex early on...and even now...on day 48. She is also wanting to turn over fast..started flushing her on day 45...but I don't think she'll flush deep extended. Looks like she'll finish up...55-60 days. Pretty fast...I like that.

Her flowers are kind of like arrow heads...not real big...but there are plenty...and they are white glittery resinous. Funky aroma. She has been partially pollinated.

^ This is the "2nd" Mox Mox IX1 mom. Nothing..but nothing wrong with her. Vigorous....productive...stinky..sticky...beautiful. She's on day 48...but I haven't begun to flush her yet. Few more days...then I'll kick her in that direction. She's a real machine. Dark green...showed intersex weeks 3-4 but has chilled. Very solid plant

* I had this thought to...taking one of those Killer Chem females...have one I topped just yesterday..tallest one out of the litter..and transplant her into a 5 gal smart pot...veg her a bit..then put her in

she'll be C99 dominant..pretty sure..be fun to get her in...tag her with this Mox Mox/Hell Hound dust. Wouldn't hurt anything...call it T.H.M. (Thrill. Hell. Mox.).......a tributary of Hell Mox

** I should call this Killer Chem IX1, Killer Chem IX2, and Cindy Kill Dog...something as there is no way I'm going to know what is what. Call this run "Thrill Kill".......that's how I'll label the beans I make on this run.

*** Funny how you can collect your genetics...and put them to good use. I couldn't imagine doing this...any other way. There are so many plants in there..so many things that can be realized

Transplanted

Transplanted

Went ahead and transplanted this plant from the Thrill Kill run

^ so...this plant could be a Killer Chem IX1, Killer Chem IX2, or a Cindy Kill Dog F1.....but

I'm just referring any plant from that run as a Thrill Kill

* This is the biggest/fastest growing expression (which is why she was chosen)...and I'm running her with the Mox Mox IX1 and Hell Hound IX1...just to get her in...and get some of that dust on her.

** She was topped a couple days ago...and will probably be vegging for another week or so...before she gets put in to flower.

*** Basically adding the Thrill Kill genetics into the Mox and Hounds..is probably not doing much. More Chem...more Cindy..any way you look at it. Can't be a bad thing...but it shouldn't be anything direction changing...nothing shocking

yesterday..

yesterday..

I showed you a picture of a Hell Hound IX1 mom...an expression that appears to be fast to finish

^ that's a 49 day old sample flower. This plant seems to be turning over rapidly...so much so...that I don't see her going much past 55 days. At 55 she'll have flushed for 10 days...we'll see what she looks like then

Vine Flowers

Vine Flowers

Excellent sweet fruity berry funk...vine expression Hell Hound IX1

^ They dry to be light rocket ships..which carry a sweet resin profile in their vapor. Some of my favorite expression to indulge my head into. As far as indoor sativa expressions go...I don't know how much better I can find. Go chasing after the days of old...or create something within your own time...one is possible...and one is delusion. Now Now Now

* someday....I'm going to grow some Hell Mox "vines" next to some Casey Jones "vines" and see what has changed. As it is presently..the Casey Jones structure is still dominant...but I do believe...the resin profiles are changing through all the outcrossing.

When I do my 1st Hell Mox run....vines will be something I'll be looking for. As I can't seem to get away form them (or even try to get away from them)...I believe I'll be working them down the Hell Mox line...hopefully...to continue seeing them...transform into something else.

It would be nice to see them become a denser flower...but besides that...they are on target

Open my eyes to the gray of sunrise

pull my shit on....vaporize 3 bowls of the vine...chug down a 1/2 quart of water..start running. On the trail before I'm awake...hit it hard for a little over 1.5 hrs...come home..make some pressed Kona..throw on some old bluejeans and a shirt...vaporize another bowl of the vine..go garden for a while

had a nice little ride this morning myself, nothing too extensive, just grabbing a few things for tomorrow...its a traditional outdoors day for me,going mountain biking,or more properly,im going riding out in the desert until i find a cool spot to smoke a turkey leg size joint or two....what happens after that is in the air....
and time to do some up potting as well...hopefully the last few seed plants have sexed and i can get on with the next round of sprouting...

Speedster

Speedster

Been doing dawn patrol runs...cold morning starts...when the sun rising above the ridges...actually means something. Off trail this morning...took it one ridge too far..and couldn't find a way down the lee side of the hill. Deep cold filled drainages..overgrown..in monster brush...couldn't go low..couldn't stay high...had to reverse

,,,the reverse transverse being against the brush grain...gave me a good ripping...and more than a few smacks to the face. I finished in a blinded squint..due to..a brush smack to one eye...then 20 yards later..to the other eye. all beat up

*Harvested that real fast Hell Hound IX1 expression...day 56

^ This girl is gnarly. Flowers...as you can see..are not large..but they are plentiful and super skunk pungent. I've vaporized the early sample of this girl...and yes...we are very happy.

Fast...hyper sensitive (tweezers required)...

Partially pollinated (these beans are desirable to me)

I have no idea what genetics hooked up here...never seen this Hell Hound expression before

Filling the Box with the Speedster

Filling the Box with the Speedster

If ever my gardens stop transitioning...I'll quit.

^ Quickly filling a box with the Hell Hound IX1 "speedster" expression. Real simple to trim...nuggets are on the dense side..consistent top to bottom...no larf. Alternating between 2 pairs of scissors...it's an easy trim session.

Still have the bottom 1/2 of the plant to trim...isolate the seeded flowers off on their own..but yeah...nice stuff.

* I sure do like fast expressions. Man...plants that come in under 60 days are just swell with me. The faster...the more I can run...the more I can see. Not saying that fast finishes are at what I shoot for..but if I can find good ones...I sure will use them to extend a line.

** Getting further into this breeding project (Hell Mox)...I'm finding myself absorbed in the Hell Hound IX1...more so...than the Mox Mox IX1. The Mox are almost coming out uniform...keep seeing the same expression..but the Hounds are bouncing all over.

My thoughts at this point would be to begin the 1st Hell Mox run by using only beans coming from the choice Hell Hound IX1 mothers. I'd like to see those plants 1st...then go from there. The Hounds (as I noted) have been the more aggressive plants....more interesting

Happily..both the lines kick ass in the vapor bowls. There is no similarity in flavor...they are different animals. The choice expressions of both lines are very potent...very desirable. Lots of different flavors.

I just have a feeling that the way into (what I'm seeking in) Hell Mox expression will come to be...by mothered Hell Hounds. I believe that the Mox Mox will spread its best attributes through its males. If it works out to be true...I'll be sitting well up on the mountain.

*** I've pollinated more Hell Hounds than Mox Mox...because I'm finding more options in the Hounds. I still have more pollinations to do...and even now..I'm seeing just one Mox I'm going to hit...but at least a couple more Hounds.

On such a small scale...one must pick and choose...as there is no reason to make a bunch of beans with repeat expressions imo. If you can nail a solid example of an expression....it's pointless to continue pollinating repeats of the same expression. Believe me...I've done it many times. You basically just need one of each example...to get it down in bean. But of course...I'm using pollen from 6 males now..so...that broadens the horizons.

I've skipped over 3 Mox repeats...but haven't run into any Hound repeats yet. Still have a ways to go though

Repeats, A Perfect Mess, and "The Pig"

Repeats, A Perfect Mess, and "The Pig"

I was mumbling on yesterday...about "repeat" expressions in the Mox Mox IX1 population

Here's examples:

^ These 2 are on day 57 (flushing) and are not pollinated...because they are lesser versions of this plant

^ She is also on day 57 (flushing)...partially pollinated...and a better version.

Why is she a better version?

Real simple...she's bigger and more aggressive. You have to start somewhere. The 1st step (for me anyway) is to find expressions that are aggressive growers. I mean...why grow stuff that doesn't spark you up? So...finding the proper framework and structure...is a perfect stepping off point.

* It's been my experience..within my own crosses...that most of them are pretty close..as far as...potency, flavor/aroma (undertone..overtone can be different), and high. It's rare that I find an expression in a general population...that stands out..way on top of the others...in these departments. Saying: the vapor is pretty damn good from any which one of the Hell Hound or Mox Mox expressions..so to this point..that is not ever the question: they all reek...they are all resinous..they all taste good...they all get me higher than hell

...knowing this...really allows me the simplicity of initially selecting for the most aggressive growers out of each expression. Once I can get each expression down into bean form...then the work will begin for fine tuning those other traits.

Now..I'm new to getting into specifics. All (with the exception of the F1 queen mox clone) the Hell Hound and the Mox Mox being used to make Hell Mox...are only in..the 2nd generation..so...this is one of the reasons I want to create my own thing. In Hell Mox..I'll have put in my favorite genetics...so from that point on (the Hell Mox point) I'll be actually concentrating on trait related goals. But..then again..I'm already very happy...and it may well be a case...of me fucking off...seeing what can happen...what can be

^ A perfect mess. A wall of Hound and Mox...that I'm watching over..being picky on which ones...get the dust. It may not look like it in the picture...but there is a shit load of work being put into these girls. They are not simple plants to control or cultivate. There is so much wire involved in this mess...so much time spent going through their canopies..just...so much time and effort...I can't explain here

^ I call this Hound expression "The Pig"....because that's the way she acts. This one is super aggressive...super feeder...an absolute pig..very full of herself. I love her. She will be getting hit with pollen. Not sure even...which way she's going...but she's going with gusto. Just started rigging her to the rafters yesterday...as she is still very much...hitting her stretch. Oinker

Cold, Wet, and Windy....be training in the frill. I am a machine...running well....with grace and attitude. or sometimes...I'm only falling forward

i was climbing really well yesterday, not fast mind you,but steady tempo riding....felt good, not gasping for air or feeling like my heart was trying to jump out of my ribcage, just calm, steady climbing....
its windier than fuck out right now, still heading out to spin some road miles...i know im closing in on 2000 miles since mid july, but i have sort of lost track riding the different bikes...actually i have finally started to learn to ignore the bike comp aside from using it to tell time,i need to be able to ride smoothly for hours at a time,i want to go farther, not faster...but of course as it works out,the long easier effort rides start adding up and i have noted im going faster with much less effort than before...

You ever hear Sonic Youth's version of..

You ever hear Sonic Youth's version of..

The Carpenter's "Superstar"??///////

Was up about 45 minutes before dawn...couple pieces of toast..some water...fucked around on IC waiting for good enough light to run in.

The sky was unloading the 1st dusting of snow...the 1st of the winter season. Clouds hung so low..as to..make everything gray and white with snow falling...silent silent...

ran for 1:54...in a beautiful blind tube of paradise...followed single track trail..then old jeep trail...and a big cat's track (along the way)...o'baby o'baby o'baby o'baby going through my head...stretch running...powering up hills...slip gaging downhills...bouncing around thinking...

I wonder..who it is?... that sees and follows my tracks. That thought (always floating around in my mind) motivated me to make my sign interesting...as I wouldn't want to fuck them out of a good read. Make them have to work for it a bit...stash my tracks out of the way..never a straight line...goddamn represent thyself...

...then...back on single track...sliding home to: more toast...more water..and a cup of coffee. To this I garden a while

I showed you (yesterday) a couple Mox Mox IX1 that were not pollinated. Yes? Yes...well anyway...I said they were flushing out...now day 58. This morning I stretched them out like turkey necks with wire...pulled taunt to rafter

^ This is how they appear...all turkey necked out...stretched out for the final week (or so) of their cycles. Couldn't help but picture them..as hung birds..getting ready to be..plucked clean

^ Flushing Mox (day 58) along side a flushing Hound (day 63). That's the same partially pollinated Mox (call her #2 as she was the 2nd Mox pollinated) I also showed yesterday. She's the darker green:::the dark green coloring seeming a dominant habit of most the Mox I've seen so far..in this run. She is also showing a blushing stalk..more blush the further along she goes (not unlike that Flo dominant Mox expression)...

^ That's what the flowers..on the above Hound expression..look like. Previously I'd said that...she was probably dominated by the OG Jam in here genetic profile...and currently...I'll stick to that story. She kind of has a pink bubblegum hue about here...solid yielder...funky OGish aroma..real sticky dense flowers. Fading out nicely on day 63..she didn't start flush until day 51? (somewhere abouts there)...but yeah...fading away

Hope to find another one like this...just to get one pollinated. Messed up not hitting her...but o well.. still plenty of expressions in the sea..and I figure I'll see something like her again..in this run.

Looking great man. Its great to see them side by side - the Hell Hound and Mox Mox.
The are quite different. I like those dark green leaves on the Mox.
She does hint the Flo lineage, but quite different and buffed up :p

The part of the project with the mothers is crazy enough,
but I can`t wait too see what happens when you start popping those beans :woohoo:
I will have to start taking notes what is what :tiphat:

Honestly...in all modesty...I don't know how I'm keeping this run afloat..organized even. I was just in there...removing leaves...adding more wire..adding more eyelets to anchor off wiring..feeding...flushing..tying...bending...

...plotting and planning. my head spins

* Yes indeed...I think I'm seeing some helpful Flo attributes in the Mox. I believe the deep green coloring (which is difficult to fade out) and the darker blushing...are ornamental values found in Flo.

The last 2 days I've been vaporizing the Flo dominant Mox expression...and I have to say...it is getting better with a little cure. Didn't yield much...but the vapor is enough to cream your head..the flavor is influenced by the Chem DD..but there is a sense of the Flo as well. It's different. I ran on 2 bowls of it yesterday morning..in the clouds literally and figuratively...trippy

** The differences between the Hound and the Mox....are yes...very very obvious. You can not confuse them. They look different...grow different...smell different..

what's similar...is that they produce killer expressions and that I cherish both lines.

expectations for combining them (into Hell Mox) are (almost hate to say) through the roof. I couldn't get a concept in my head..couldn't figure out exactly how it should be...until I actually got down into this run.

This is my most demanding run to date....but I now have a better understanding of what it is Hell Mox should become..and how I think...it's going to need to be...routed...in order to obtain those expressions. My confidence in what's being done presently..is high. My studios...on the other hand...are a fucking mess. The plants are taking over...it's a difficult time

...my sharpie has been kept busy...scrawling notes all over my work bench..all over seed bags...my accuracy to details questionable..but as much for answers as I need. This thread...keeps it in touch

Into Dust

Into Dust

...I'm all caught up in Mazzy Star..since last night..that's the only song going through my head. My wife says its heroin music...she's right of course...but still..I really dig on the sound...and

it's fitting for this weather. I can't see the mountains around me (my world is in the clouds)...don't much expect to see them all day. Wind Cold Snow

into dust...what kind of run comes from that? It's isolation..fitting in a narrow tube of visibility. the mountains offer up little creases...draw you in..until..you disappear. into dust...into clouds..very much the same today. Hope Sandoval vocalizing my soundtrack

^ What's that? All kinds of variety in there...Red Krox, Strange Days, Mox Mox, Hell Hound, Satechism, and Scrub...I believe that's it. Christmas presents

^ Bags of seeded flowers....wow man...how about that organization?? Then you know..I pick my poisons...use only my favorite ones. Elementary Breeding Program

^ A 60 day flower...early sample..off one of the Mox Mox IX1 that was not pollinated.

^ The mother of all the Mox Mox IX1 in this run. That's the Queen Mox Clone (F1) getting her stretch on...being strung up to the rafters. This is her 2nd clone run...and she'll be getting dusted. Funny thing: though she produces deep green expressions...she herself..is not as dark. Also funny: I've not found her expression representation in her offspring yet. I don't think she is a fluke..just haven't come across her yet.

* I'm totally into stringing my plants up. The thing is: the ones getting pollinated will have to be untied...and removed from the flower studio to be pollinated. Those getting pollinated are not tied into their "permanent" flowering spots..until after they are pollinated.

I move stuff around you see. Have to. Much of the pruning, training, and tying is geared around the mobility factor. A plant might flower for a month in the same spot...but then....tied into a different spot after that. I'm always calculating...selecting..and such...which plants not only get the dust...but where each plant should fit into the circle. Plants tend to not stay in the same spots...the circle is evolving at all times...or should I say...revolving...whatever...no matter...sure you understand

It's a dance. There are steps to the dance. Randomness plays little part..it's all practiced...staged...planned out. Moving these girls is...in no way...easy.

EDIT: It's blowing cold like a motherfucker....pressed myself out another cup of coffee. It's going to be a brutal run
