A VERY STANKY GARDEN

Hitman> love me some folgers in the morning :biglaugh:

packn> yeah they are coming along slowly. Really think I need more light, budz just aren't filling in as quickly as I would like. But I gotta keep reminding myself that the MMM and the Bonzo are a good week younger than the BurmaBerry, and it's coming on better, esp. since transplanting, and my tie down bondage.

Anyway, more pics. No particular order.

suggestions on getting the buds to fill out more ladies and gentlemen?

You didnt add too much perlite eh, could have used a bit more for faster root growth.

And the reason it is recommended to start in smaller pots is because of the way that MJ roots....she likes to fill up the outer edges of the container, so if you start in a big pot, she is gonna root around the outside and not the middle, wasting a lot of space. By transplanting into larger pots, the plant gets to expand and use the whole volume of the container.

I'm not sure why you added epsom salts to your soil.....Usually people add that to the water....

1 tablespoon is also a bit on the small side for the blood and bone meal. You could have put a cup of each in since it's hard to burn yoru plants with that shit.

Looking green though:D

I didn't read the whole thread since I'm pressed with time but a SCROG would keep all your colas getting an even amount of light.

Hey stankbud what kind of light are you using again?
They look good I think they will start filling in here in the next couple of weeks. Might want to go find some high P guanno to throw in the mix so they will have more P available to produce buds... But then again they look great with just the PSG so you might just want to keep doing the same ol thing.

while I'm thinking about it, anybody shopping for school supplies yet? Found these locker racks / scrog screens at big lots. butt cheap.

gdizzle> yep, knew a scrog would do that, didn't wanna mess with a screen this time. LST does exactly the same thing. Look for a thread on here by Caprichoso
Plant manipulator
the LST Master.

So you'll know, I didn't add more perlite cause the soil is very light and fluffy. When I transplanted into larger containers, more perlite was added. Also more blood and bone meal, guano and epsom salt. I put epsom salt in the soil cause the plant needs it. I only use it in water, and then as a spray, if the leaf tips curl up and pray for it. Also when transplanted, the root structure COMPLETELY filled the folgers containers, they were very nearly rootbound.Ya know some folks just don't like to transplant more than once. I'm one of 'em.
Oh, and welcome to ICMag.

dubmantx> using 3 - 42 watt cfl (supposedly same light as a 200 watt) roughly 4000 lumens apiece ( I think ) and 1 - 70 watt HPS. Need those new lights here soon as brother LOL.

and a pic of what happens to males...

:listen2: Stankbud I must of missed this...Man I remember that not so long ago...my "Official IC Fan Leaf Toker" title started with males...makes me feel good knowing I'm not the only one with no dignity... :pointlaug :biglaugh:

Light is the power source for these growing machines..where as water and nutes are the fuel. Everything else is environment. Genetics is the machine itself. Each leg plays an important role. Got to get those solar panels running at a higher level. Hope those lights get there soon...everything under the canopy starts to suffer, because the CFL's just can't penetrate the canopy with light. That's what makes HID lighting so attractive to growing...heat is an issue, but light intensity, depth of penetration and spectrum are excellent. Just my :2cents:

packn2puff> yeah we've been reduced to that  If you'll notice katzaye has flt memeber under her name....she tells EVERYONE you are our fearless leader :respect: bad news is we've just about smoked it all, and will have no choice but to wait for harvest. Curse the luck. Ohwell, such is life huh?

Magical Mystery Mix

Magical Mystery Mix

MMM canopy, starting to fill in had to do some more canna bondage on her....I think evening the canopy out slowed down bud development while lower budsites caught up. I donno, just my theory.

WOW Stank those are getting very frosty! good job man! I think you can start to see that they are fattening up a littlebit... the lower buds are starting to just grow into the buds above them. Hope yall dont run out of smoke before harvest... I might just have to send a thankyou gift here in a week or two to help yall make it ;)

Looks damn good for 2cfls and a 70w HPS! One thing i forgot to mention is to be careful with how you tie your plants... I almost lost the main cola on a plant cause i forgot to retie the knott. I just started using loops vs knotts cause that way I didnt have to retie so much... Not sure your method... but it looks great man! You could be right about the tying slowing growth... it is Low Stress training not No stress training so it could have slowed it a bit.

Yeah Caprichoso said they would seem to almost go into stasis after starting LST...then once the axial growth begins to get a foothold..they really take off.

That's funny... ...I don't know if I should be honored or saddened...The thing is, you get to smoke your own..and if you get a buzz...that's the sweetist plum...then it just gets better as the buds come in..so Fan Leaf Tokers everywhere come out of those closets with a nice phat fan leaf...and hold your head high as you walk to the microwave to cook yourself an instant treat... :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :pointlaug

never microwave unless it's a case of extreme emergency. LOL Let 'em dry and jar curing for a week or so helps immensely.

packn2puff> Thanx for the heads up on the info by Cap that LST does indeed slow down the vertical growth. I feel much relieved now. Just reread that thread again, and there is so much good info in there. So they are behind, but with good reason. So basically I'm thinking they are right where they should be with the LST, and I'm way happy.

my buddy dubmantx, I got just 2 word for ya this morning (BIG OLD SILLY ASS GRIN )sharon widow

a pic of the Bonzo canopy, filling out and still stretching, retied yesterday cause 3 of the tops were getting out of control.

dubmantx> nope I tied them tops down, and have to retie almost daily, every other day for sure. Still a stretching, but I got almost all the canopy evened out now, so I'm just gonna let her go I think.
