just finished smoking 1/2 that bud. alright dubmantx, if you're gonna twist my arm, I'll clip a few of the lower buds tomorrow when the lights come on.

(p.s.) it's the killer!!

Cool. Im not saying you have to Im just saying I think if I would have clipped a couple of lower buds that never ended up maturing anyways then it would have put the energy into the big buds. Dont go too crazy but a little pruning I think will help the end product.

Well, I looked at em again this morning, and there really aren't any lower budsites to trim thanks to the LST. Pretty much all the budsites are level on top of the canopy. The one I got yesterday was just a straggler that hadn't been able to fight its way up. Back to the waiting game!!

Bonzo, for those of y'all who don't get down to the Swan Somg Seeds forum (y'all ought to, there are several good threads there growing out zepps crosses).

Also, I gotta fess up to y'all that katzaye takes all the pics for me. She has that camera figured out pretty good. She uses a 10x loupe for the trichome shots.

Bonzo> thanx, ya just made her day!! NO professionals here, and quite honestly I don't think they're nearly as good as other folks on here, but appreciate the compliment.

Hairy Bass> Thanx for stopping by again!!

hey stank nice plants dood, i'm right there with u and packn2puff, shit outta pot of my own...its fan leaves for me or the occasional bowl i can scrounge at my friend's places...i have a bunch of 5 month old trim that i've been shaking in my screened kif jar (just a preserve jar with metal screen on the lid) for about 2 weeks now LOL...still gets me higher than most any shit i come across besides my own...if u want to speed things up i would recommend going to 11/13 photoperiod, yield will be slightly smaller but i switched the other day when the girls weren't budding the way i wanted and they have really started to pick up...u can move the photoperiod around as long as they get 12 hours darkness its not going to mess with them...great job with the CFLS...

well, it's sci-fi friday so we came home today and found (quite mysteriously I might add) another tester doobie, this one of MMM. Sure would be nice to know what I'm tokin on, but that's why it's a mystery huh? Wait'll ya see the pics this weekend, the freaking trichomes have gone insane!!!

PhatDaddyNugzYo> Yo!!! There starting to gain wait, and get so frosty !! Think I'm just gonna leave the cycle for right now. The MMM is still wispish, so I may go 11/13 just for her, maybe she'll put on some real weight then.

MrGreenJeans> LOL I'm prepared to take the MMM if all else fails and she don't get fat. That outta hold us till Bonzo and BurmaBerry finish. They do look good, thanx, wait'll ya see the Burmaberry fattened!! Yummy!

Sleepy> thanx for stoppin by!! Nope, no more testers!! I promise!! (fingers crossed )

3legdog> you're gonna love the Burmaberry man!! swear it just oozes resin!

I just cut the weaker lower branches on the BubbleDust the other day...it's a win-win situation..I get to sample the bud and the plant gets more energy to the well lit bigger buds higher up...GMT was telling me you will get more yield in the long run giving up the energy to the buds that can use it, than if you just let the weak lower branches grow... :2cents:

weekly pics

weekly pics

gonna waste more bandwidth with pics.group canopy followed by the MMM. She bothers me, smells damn good, but no meat on her yet. buds are all about a foot long with wispish flowers still. If she fills in she'll have decent weight. Be nice to know how long she flowers for DG (hint). If she don't fill out some soon she may get the axe early. Gonna try 11/13 lights next week.

Now the Burmaberry

Now the Burmaberry

she makes me drool. Really love this one still, and pretty damn happy I still have 7-8 more seeds of this strain. Going to devote an entire grow to her in the future, take clones and get a stockpile of her. She smells SO damn good. Thank you Reeferman!! ( don't know if he or lucifer even know this plant exists )

so any of y'all got any suggestions as to which branches are candidates for trimming? They are all pretty much the same length, but some are more developed than others. The question is, do I trim and pump all energy into the bigger buds, or leave em go and see how they develop. Hard decision to make. I think they all have the potential to yeild well if left alone.

I think you got two big parasites in that grow, gnawing away at your buds...you and Katzaye :biglaugh:
If that's all the branches left on the plant...then I say leave um be..If you are gonna hack one..I'd go with the weakest..my :2cents:

packn2> believe it or not, only 2 branches have disappeared. 1 small one on the Burmaberry ya never saw cause it was under the canopy to start......and one that was so wispish and undeveloped it pissed me off to look at it on the MMM. The Bonzo remains untouched.........might make a difference they are no longer tied down, cut the bonds and let em go, ya can't see all the flowers lower down.........

more bonzo pics so I could shamelessly bump this thread LOL. Just noticed it's 8 pages and has over 2000 views....damn...

anyway, Bonzo is coming on strong. Filled in a little this past week, all the branches are a foot long and have flowers top to bottome, just a matter of how much she fills in. The aroma on her is near indescribable, I really like it. Trichs are still clear obviously, got at least 30 daze left before she finishes. She may yeild better than any of the others if she continues developing at this rate, zepp really made a fine cross here IMO.
