nope, haven't seen any preflowers yet, but that'll change here quickly. Throwing the switch tonite to 12/12. Think they could go another week or so in veg easily, but I'm in a hurry to start the next batch, BoggyHaze by annaC. BoggyHaze is Oaxican sativa x Bogglegum x Somas Amnesia Haze, and I've always had a hard on for Soma strains, wanted em forever, and the Bog genetics thrown in the mix just make it more appealing. And I finally pestered katzaye enuff that she is willing to give up a closet so I can get serious and get some more lights and get a few more plants going, so I'm trying to decide what else to pop too. Maybe MindBoggle x NYCD. Or Somatooth #2. or very berry surprise. or Venus or sweetlight or Montels Pride x NYCD. Or Rockstar. Or Texas Hammer from TRC....decisions, decisions.....

Spankin' Elvis- wow, I'm honored ya dropped in to check out my little garden, I've seen your grows and budshots, so any praise from you makes buttons pop off my shirt here. Yeah, Texicans as a rule are pretty laid back ( until they get on the highway during rush hour anyway ) and I really don't wanna hurry 'em, but I'm tired of Vicodin hangover headaches. I'm only cheating a week or two, I'd throw the switch at 45 daze anyway, so the yield will be off I'm sure, but katzaye and I got to have some medicine....soon!!!I got a bad back, no fluid left on my knees, high blood pressure and premature arthritis, she had a wrist completely rebuilt 4 years ago, and has female things ya know, so I'm committed to 12/12. Next grow I'll let 'em go to term, if I don't do a Growdoc set up.

I appreciate the kind words, stanky, but we're all equals here. I gotta put my pants on one leg at a time too. It's just a matter of experience and from what I see you'll be running with the big dogs in no time. You got a good, entusiastic attitude. That makes a difference. Keep it green, bro.

Let me add that you're getting a real good bit of experience on this very grow. Problem solving is a big part of growing. I'm sure you've gained more knowledge than you would have with a trouble-free grow.

Hey dubmantx, glad ya dropped by. gonna post update pics as soon as I get em all to show sex, got 5 that are being slow, which is fine, the longer they go, the better the chance of females.
Good news on the females........i agree with ya on the time thing; the longer they take to show the more chance of em being girls (i have noticed the boys always make emselves heard nice and early.

Update time finally.
Well they all finally showed their sex. Got a disappointing 3/9 females, 1 BurmaBerry, 1 MMM, and 1 Bonzo.
Blaming myself for poor female/male ratio, first grow in this set-up, had a few probs, like Spankin' Elvis said, this is a learning experience, just need to dial her in better. Def need to get more lights, just not happy with the CFL's even with the 70 HPS supplementing, not enuff lumens. Also had probs with temps early on, fixed that by tapping into the AC.
Oh well, ya live ya learn right?
