Thank you Mrsterling and idiit, this is what I thought. As I have not grown pure sativa before I worried because only 2 had the narrow leaves, I figured they would thin out in new growth but wasn't positive. thanks again.

Near 5 weeks now.

This is a few quick pics of M10.
M10 is still looking the best in flower at this point.
The first pic shows the full plant and all her bud.
Pushing some visible resin.

I may rename this thread to Snow on My Malawi.
I will ask you to sing it later.
Lets hope for lots of snow.

The others are still forming early flowers.
I take more pics later.

Have a great Day. :)

Real nice Zanddar :) As usual in your garden!

Malawi is a bit slow to form buds if you grow them indoors from seed for the first time, but your plants are incredible healthy and well developed, im glad to see strong resin production in early flowering .... the next weeks 2 months are going to be VERY interesting ;) Thanks for all the updates and keep the green hand and good cares of your plants!

The smells are coming out nice now.

M10 is a sweet fruity smell.
This is the strongest and best smelling of them all so far.
Was my favorite plant in veg.

M8 has a mango smell.

M9 has a carrot smell.
This plant has potent looking bud.

M8 and M10 look like the best yielders.
Most plants are forming nice tight bud.

Good Day

beautiful Malawi zanndar, starting to show nice resins.

I have a question for those more experienced than myself (I don't have too much lol), my Malawi are 3 or so weeks since starting to flower, a few hairs on 1 are starting to turn color, maybe 3-5% of them. It just seems early to me, I have heard they can turn early from pollination but I have no males and have looked up and down all my plants for male flowers and not found any. As well, it is the only plant with any darker hairs. Maybe I should mention it is also starting to purple to help discern phenotype. Just wanted some others input.

Thx Saibai.
I try to give as much detail I can see or smell.

Thx stimp.Glad you like them.

My Malawi started to flower after 3 weeks of 12/12.Some were slower to initiate flower until after 4 weeks.

I posted some early pics of M10 and you can see some pistils have already turned.
I was concerned and looked for bananas or any male sacs and could not see any.
It appeared to me as a flower trait and not a herm problem.
In the following pics you will see M10 is much faster than the other Malawi.

Not sure in your case stimp. If it is still pushing lots of new hairs and becoming thick,I would not worry too much, unless you find seed forming or male sacs.

Hope this helps.

thanks zanddar, it does help to put my mind at easy hearing from someone who grows such beauties. I've looked them over with a magnifier the last 3 nights for pollen sacs and none to be seen. And as you are 4 weeks ahead of me, I have been following this grow every step and I did see your early pics with some orange hairs. thanks a lot for your help.
