That is why I have both cob and dried/jar cured from the same plant for the different effects.
I am looking forward to cobbing my current GT grow at harvest, the

hey tang... my GT grow is now about 120days in flower, and still has a way to go, as its still about 60%clear..

question on 'cob'... I cobbed some our last grow... I dried the bud for about 1 week, into the cob, then vacuum sealed it , and into a cool dark place for 2+months.. imo it def was stronger then jarring...BUT u have to smoke it in a pipe as its like one solid piece of bud (almost like old Mexican brick, but even more condensed)..

the question..if after a week of drying, I cob it, then into a mason jar, and then I enclose the mason jar in the seal-a-meal
will it mold?? ... as its not 100%dried, and I can suck all the air out of the bag, but the jar will be closed, and there will be air remaining in the jar
thanks

Hi Zach there is a chance, to be sure maybe dry it a bit more, once dried I have never got mold on a cob, unless it got wet after drying. They will keep for years no problem once dried.
I just keep mine in a plastic sandwich bag sealed in a dark cool place without any mold ever.
I had a piece of a zamaldelica cob the other day that had been kept like this for over 9 months it was perfect, even a little moist in the centre.
Its almost like after the cure the causes of mold are no longer there, like beef jerky once it is dried it keeps forever unless it gets wet.
You should be able to roll a joint with it just grind it up into pieces, even if it it looks like bits of rock and gravel it will still burn nicely in a joint. If its good bud you will only need a pin joint and 2 or 3 deep pulls on it.
I just re read your post, if its vac sealed in the bag before going into the jar, then you will have no problems unless the vac seal is broken, but if its dried enough to smoke it from the cob it will be fine.

Hey Zander, just stumbled across your great Malawi grow. Fantastic job with them. I'm doing my first run of some ACE & Cannabiogen strains. They are extremely vigorous, and healthy plants. Sprout quickly and clone easy. I have not had the pleasure as yet , of trying any smoke. I'm at least 5-6 away .Fem seeds are growing now, just recieved some reg seeds of . Malawi, Zamaldelica, GT,Guawi, Loas Luang Prabang, and Panama. Now Landrace addicted.

Sorry about that Zander. I'm very excited to have these great genetics . I've been growing on and off for 20 years and I'm sure these are some of the best plants I will have in my lifetime.Like a child in a candy store.Who knows ,things can change very quickly , as I know!! So congrats on your Malawi grow . Just Stunning.

Amazing development for just 42 days of 12/12 from seed KJB,
you really know how to tame Malawi in your indoor setup ;)

So curious! Looks like the plant is producing a fasciated flower in one of its colas!
Quite rare to find in the Malawi line.

Best wishes for the rest of the flowering and thanks for all your great frequent updates!
