Hey Waldiger,
if I remember correctly you identified my outdoor malawi as "dominator" pheno by your nomenclature
Do you maybe remember how was this pheno's mold and frost resistance in your outdoor "micro" trees experiment?
I'm thinking it's time to harvest the two remaining plants, some new rains are coming shortly and temps won't improve this month. Still no frost but getting closer and closer.
I doubt there's still some room for improvement in this conditions.

the killer for me was the one that produced BIG trichomes, not the one that frosted most, but the one that produced sand like trichomes.... thick....

, judging by her fan leaf size to general plant size, its a dominator.I took her down in parts over the last weeks, her mold resistance was very good till the end and also very slight frost did no further damage.

Amazing high THC content, just a single Malawi plant from seed, and already competing with the highest THC elite clone from USA.
His Chem Dog x Malawi homemade cross tested even higher:
THC: 27.28 %
CBD: 0.08 %

Recently , i've tried mixed Choco Diesel (Chocolope x 4SD(Chemdog4 x Sour Diesel) ) and Malawi together in 1 joint - it's just phenomenal
Very dangerous mix,very interesting balance.
And of course, no doubt, Malawi can be more than 20-25 THC
her taste is immediately talking about it

Malawi harvest time! The weird mutant Malawi, check out it's structure. Little minibuds covered in frost.
As it matured the calyxes turned purple.
Turned fruity, dank hashy with a fuel/medicine terpene smell I've found in many equatorial narrow leaf strains. The Vietnamese Black/Thai had it.
Here she is dried. One toke type stuff, doesn't take much.

Too bad the yield was so small, in the future I'd like to find a purple pheno with a structure like some of the green pheno.

Looking forward to crossing it with my outdoor strains I run. See if I can get the flowering time down so it will finish here. I already know it has good resistance to mildew and mold. if I can keep that and the potency along with finishing early and some of the yummy spicy and fruity flavors of my strains, I'd have something.

for me it's not hermaphrodism but only extra male flower in the end of flowering stage. you can make good feminised babies with it an you'll never experience hermaphrodism with it.
light leak can help to do that

@tjo: that sounds exactly like it except mine is not really columnar, very branchy but also has lots of tops and no real main cola. It reminded me a lot of Violeta. Compared to your picture, mine seems way more purple, inside the nugs there's even red tones. I sampled a top and its quite weak indeed, I was expecting the soaring high and was thinking it needs to be completely dead - I know a week or two can make the difference - to be cut. Now I know I can chop her without waiting too much. Cheers!
@waldgeist: unfortunately Im still having camera issues, thats why I didnt posted anything related to this grow, cant make updates with pics anymore. I will try to borrow someone elses but not sure it works on time. But to your advice I will try to run the future clones on 12/12, we'll see if there's any difference. Thanx for the information my friend, and you didnt confused me at all, I wanted to try that schedule to fasten the things! looks like I succeeded, we'll see if it was a good thing when I'll run her on 12/12

Hi guys, i thought I'd drop to give an update. Still no pics.
Out of the 3 females I had, i kept the purple and another green pheno. Gave it a second try with the clones and this time I left the plants for 13 full weeks, under 12/12... and I humbly take back what I said about it being weak. Less than one month curing so far but the weed is quite potent. Way more frosty under 12/12 than 11/13. Its a strange effect actually, very clear and overwhelming, and I dont particulary notice im high, until I want to roll another spliff and realize Im flying full speed, at the limit of diziness... very strange effect. I noticed the same thing in the Purple haze x Malawi cross, the Hazy pheno is ok but the Malawi leaning plant's power is pretty wild, pretty similar altho more psychedelic. Pure Malawi is really raw power. Glad I left them for 13 weeks, but will try 2-3 harvests at different times next sessions.
Unfortunately I didnt kept doubles of the clones so right now I try to reveg them, 2 weeks now, fingers crossed.
