Hey Zanddar, your plants are great. I like your cleanness with the bottoms of your plants. I always love seeing a well-manicured lower half. you know, more air flow, more energy concentration on the flowering tops and canopy. You know what you're doing. I hope yer Malawi's work out, you certainly have a good size gene selection in that pool of 20 seedlings. May they be 3/4 female my friend.
Exactly my feeling too Tang! Just getting started at week 6. I may shut off the feed line to her tray and start hand watering her a bit higher EC, she seems like she wants more than the other plants in the same tent with her that are feeding off the same res. Can anyone chime in on when the peak weeks of flowering typically occur on the Malawi? I’m assuming weeks 7-10ish?
Do they reflower commonly?

I had some earlier ones that may have been close to finish around 10 or 11 weeks.
My Malawi clone finishes after 12 weeks and does not reflower. It just gets thicker and heavier.
I harvest mine when most pistils have turned and they stop putting on weight.

At 6.5 weeks then I’m going to consider her in the peak of flowering and treat her as such. Bumping EC slightly for the next few weeks.
Malawi Fem Harvest Day @ 14weeks!
There’s so much to love about Malawi! My friends call it Wowie Malawi! The resin glans glisten like diamonds and are as sticky as a fly trap! I love the few leaves and bud structure too! There’s a range of minty juicy fruit gum terps has you licking your lips. Early smoke samples have a very deep and calming high with crystal clear sativa clarity that I love! I like it so much that I’m seriously contemplating devoting the entire next grow to a more proper Malawi Selection making seeds, storing pollen and with longer veg time! I can’t wait to report back a more proper smoke test of the cured final product!

Malawi fem at 7 weeks. Still a ways to go but looking stellar. I wanted to test her limits and inched her up to 2.0 and did see her tips start burning a bit so I quickly backed it off to 1.85 EC and it’ll remain here until finish. Also she’s getting a little floppy on me so I staked her up after these photos were taken.

@OZZ_ Dang man looking amazing also already for seven weeks! I found mine not to be all that fussy with nutrients, seemed to have a tolerance of both lower and somewhat higher levels yours seem very happy!
My fruity lanky pheno is so tasty, my lady and I just hit a couple bowls out of my new rhino pipe hahaa of an early dried bud I pulled about 2 weeks ago, we both looked at each other smacking our lips, I said wow reminds me of that fruit stripe gum she said wow it really does! As I’m typing this my cheeks are buzzing and everything feels deep and warm and surreal!

The fruity Malawi is probably related to my M10. Very nice fruity smelling Malawi and shorter flowering too.

Is that a Malawi clone you labeled number 10 or do you mean SSSC M10 aka Afghani #1?
