No, I bought it from a trapper that is living a hermits life in the deep forests of Sweden. He sells moose's as transport for the poor country living folks.

They can outrun a horse easily, you should get one as well.
Once you've tried a moose you will never go back to using the horse for riding.

Haha can't really figure out if you're joking there or not Never know with you Swedes;p
Anyway looks like they got some growth going now - my own plants are stalling for some time also when I put them out small.

The plants on the cliff really appreciated the rainy weather.

I checked my swampy spot last night, and transplanted the last of the seedlings.
One of the earlier seedlings had been eaten, so I replaced it.

The plants really suffer from over watering. The whole place was almost flooded.

One of the Thyphoon plants has shown it's sex, as expected it was a male.

Damn, I'm in bad need for some sunny and warm days.

I hope they won't come back until I have managed to harvest the crops.

More sun and less insects and other intruders, then I think it can really grow out a little djungle Koi.
Sunnier times to pull down the moistiness would be nice to see from now on.

Otherwise its becoming English climate and even tea would no compensate our sences.

I thought that maybe I should show you how the plant that survived last year looked like, in the swamp that is.

It was heavily over watered and suffered from nutrition deficits.

They are now starting to grow faster.

They're growing better now - happy to see that.
Our weather seems to be turning better now so hopefully you'll get it soon too - perhaps next year you could experiment with mounds of soil in your wet spot?

Blackone, I too think the heat is coming for real now, now I have to worry about drought instead of heavy rainfall.

Yes, I will definitely grow on raised mounds next year. I was thinking of digging rows, and maximizing the number of plants there.
I will also probably germinate the seeds a lot earlier.

If I were to dig rows, would the water evaporate faster than having a flat surface? I mean, there is a bigger surface area then, right? That should make the water evaporate quicker.

Add trenches between the rows if you can somehow lead the water to an area that's even lower and you're set. There must also be lower areas nearby or else the place would be a lake... so if you have enough time you could dig a canal, hehe

Just thinking out loud I guess.. don't think I have the time on my hand for doing stuff like that in my own grows. I might just have to bite the bullet and do some serious digging though if one of the places I've been looking at looks as promising on a second visit as it did the first time I saw it.

The bottles are for watering the ground deeper then the surface.
There are holes in the bottom of the bottles and the water slowly runs into the ground at a deeper level then it would otherwise.

Blackone: Yes, that's more or less my plan. It could turn out great, just need to put in some work this fall.

Lookin' good there! I'm a bit further north then u, hoping for sunny weather as well I also came across a viper when scouting for spots,
it gave me a scare as I was really close to stepping on it. You had the plants surviving winter? Now that's kickass this far north, brother!

No, the plants themselves never survived. Well i harvested them when they got ripe.
Well, in fact half of it got stolen and I had to cut down what was left.
But the seeds survived in the soil until this spring. Then they got germinated and started to grow extremely slow.

What latitude are you at Sweet Inc.? And on which continent?

The snake is a Grass Snake (Natrix natrix), so it isn't venomous at all.
But a good hunter.
