Thanks for the tips.
I have a money problem this year that's why I take what lays around the areas.
Hopefully I will be able to fix the soil to next spring. And preparing it after harvest is a good idea.
The ice in the ground melts in April usually here in Stockholm so it's quite late.

Any tips on how to kill the ants without using any pesticides?
Will tobacco mixed with water kill them off?
Since there already are a lot of water in the spot I don't want to drown their nest.

By the way. How do I get rid of some excess water? Would it work to poke holes in ground around the spot to try to vaporize the water?
A good thing is tho that they used hemp to dry out wetlands in earlier times when they wanted to make swamps in to fields for grazing.

I will probably post an update tomorrow on the third spot.

Well, ive heard that "Sirap/syrup/treackle" will get Ants stuck to specifik place, and will fool them to other direction, but im not an expert on "Sirap/syrup, treacle/"
:dueling: Hmm good luck this year with outdoor growing!

Ants are hard to get rid of organically, I´d go for a pesticide and be done with them.

Under no circumstances I would even consider using pesticides.

Damn, I ran out of space for photos here on ICmag, what can i do to keep uploading pictures?
Atleast I have enough space for two pictures from the third spot taken today.

Haha, then I will have to write a bit then.

Last night I went out and mixed blood meal and bone meal in to the soil.
I hope I didn't over do the blood meal. Since it is starting to work almost immediately and I don't want to burn the small plants with nitrogen.
But I think it will turn out good.

I am also still germinating some more seeds that will go out in a couple of days or a week or two. Haven't made up my mind yet.

Thanks for the reply dyr! And thanks for the seeds last year.

I wish you a good summer with a good crop.

I hope we can pull off that camping trip.

And don't forget to collect pollen for some breeding. Maybe try to make a Thyphoon x Trainwreck work in Sweden and an auto flowering SSH or KM cross. Do you think they would finish in time?

Camping would be the best.
Some weed, a fireplace and lots of food.
Yummie. :monkeyeat

I won't forget about the pollen. I promise you.

I was checking the muddy spot last day, one of the plants had become snail food.
I hope it was a male.

Damn I have to get some cash soon. I want to buy gypsum!

Very nice plants Kalber, they are bigger than mine.
Keep me informed on them. :joint:

Quite many of my plants in the blue boxes had become snail food.
I made a ring of copper threads around the stem of the remaining plants.
I will maybe have to replace some plants later on.

But I have some good news too. I will probable receive three more strains later on this week.

Some new pictures of the plants growing on the cliff.

Damn, the snails have eaten most of my plants in the blue boxes. Hopefully some will survive.

Soon i will manure all places and plant four new strains.

Oh, thanks for the tip Esbe. I think I will make some of those.

Those spanish or french snails are just real monsters. They eat everything.

the blockers keep 90% of them away when prober made, its important that the whole surface is covered and it bends down the right way. drop some home or buyed made ferramol in the area to.

How do I make ferramol? My budget is very limited so I prefer cheaper options.

By the way,
my new strains are:

Dieselryder (NYC Diesel x Lowryder)
Lowryder
Danskpot x Unknown
Low Afghani x Klet

the seedlings are growing in dixie cups at the moment. I will put them outside when they get some more roots.

you buy some iron sulfat and mix it with this for instane, basically in a 2-3% solution
havregryn_ny.jpg

if you make the can blockers good it might be enough

Oats and iron sulfat.
In other words.
Maybe I will if the blockers isn't enough to stop them.

New pictures will come later this week when I have manured everything.
