Iranian auto flowers are well into budding, I put them in the ground a little more than 2 weeks ago. Germinated indoors mid-April and kept them under 24 hrs light. They are certainly acting like the auto affie!

looks great.
very interesting if they are actually s1 from the auto affy.
but no sure evidence Yet.
if they are regular AF they should also flower now, 8 weeks after germination.
did you keep any of them as mothers under 24/7 still?

They don't look like the local auto affie that's for sure, but not sure how variable the offspring of a selfed clone would be. Certainly looks like only 1 pheno in the seed pack I got, very consistent. Didn't keep any mothers either, since the seeds are readily available.
If anything I'd keep a mother of the real auto affie I got my hands on 😉

awesome thread

IAF is an early photo and not AF because you can keep them from flowering @24hrs on

clones of AUTO AFFIE need to be vegged before because they go right to flower once outside..
You hit the nail on the head Rgd. Did/ doing exactly that. IAF veged for 1.5 months under 24 hrs, then put outside. Are budding now.
My AA are veging under 24 hrs now also to get them to size before putting them outside to start budding. Looking for end of August harvest so have a little time left to veg. Usually takes them about 60-65 days to finish once put outdoors. I just mixed my organic soil for them yesterday.
:whee:

The Iranian autoflower are doing well! In full flower, probably about 2 weeks into budding, put in the ground about 3 weeks ago with a 6 week veg inside under 24 hrs. Will be a mid-august finish on these ones. Lots of bud sites, looking like they'll be heavy yeilders.

And a few mighty freeze, one that auto'ed on me inside because she got root bound. I plunked her in the native ground and let her fend for herself. She got beat up by an excavator a week ago but kept going! The other is getting some TLC and just starting to bud also. Beauty!

Here's the auto affie going through its pre-flower stretch, been in their outdoor pots for a week. Had to put some mesh because some rodent diging up the soil every night, liked the smell of the organics I guess... Will be fun to compare these with the IAF. 🤔
Going into another week of forcasted rain. Plants are getting very little sun this June!

Freezeland IBL that I'm trying some intense LST. So far the Real Gorilla Seed Freezeland and Freezeland crosses are doing great! Taking the crapy weather really well... I'm doing a RGS strains diary in the RGS forum, so will just post the RGS strain pics over there from now on. Go check it out...:tiphat:

Sounds like you might not be too far from me, as that is the same weather forecast I'm getting.
I got a real late start, basically just sprouts, that will do well not to drown. The plants are autos, or semi autos, and don't need a lot of time, some will start to flower at the third node, making for some pretty small plants. The seeds are actually my own starting out as guerilla gold, and dinafem white widow XXL, and I'm hoping a couple of more generations will get rid of the 60-70 day runts. I've actually had a couple finish 5-6 inches tall. Ideally I like 90 day plants having the first pre flowers at the 7th node(or 6th) so I can cut by end of august before the weather gets wet.

i really like that LST job...that is just one plant?

Its crazy how we've seen 5 days of sun in a month and other parts of the country are burning... I'll take the rain over drought even if it means slower growth. But at some point im hoping for a little more sun so that everything doesn't mold.
I'm with you on the august harvest. End of august first week of september is perfect. That's why I'm digging the mighty freeze right now. We'll see how mold resistant it is.
And yes, that's one plant, it naturally grew 2 tops, so I'm spreading her legs lol! Will be many tops on that one!

Hey pipeline, those are the original auto affie that Reibsi used to run. Every so often I can get my hands on some from "a friend of a friend". Veg them inside under 24 hrs to as big as you want and they start to flower about a week after putting outside. I got them late this year so wasn't able to veg them as big as I wanted, but it's a great yeilder, easy to get 3-4 oz on a smaller plant.
