Thanks, hoping for a nice august with less rain and humidity to reduce risk of mold.
Hear hear! Its been raining here for 3-4 days at a time per week for the past 3. Before that we had 25-30c (not common here in Scandinavia) for over a month with 6 weeks of no rain. Plants have been through hell but so far I only had to take down 1 from bud rot and that was likely due to pests. So so far so good but buds are fattening up…

They both love mold/mould

Garden is doing great! Thats one of the issues growing short autos, is less airflow around the flowers. Taller flowers may bet better airflow, but of course if the rains are hitting and there are long dew periods, its pretty intense mold pressure. Just have to pheno hunt a few of them and see which ones hold out in the mold. If its not S1 that would be great! Would see more diversity in the line and may find plants with mold resistance.

If you can catch the mold early enough, I just cut it out and let the rest of the flower grow and mature when possible. Try to do that as much as you can unless its a complete mold outbreak, then its probably time to cut some of the tops. Leave the small flowers below to ripen later when hopefully it dries out a bit. :smoke:
