Devastated. Dan treated me like a brother from the day I met him. Taught me to grow the finest. Backed me up on everything ive ever done. Best friend I ever had and ever will have. Provided for my kids christmas one year when i was fucked up. Would never accept repayment. I wouldnt ever have escaped the city without him. Wouldnt have my house without him. And so much more. I told him all this many times. He would always say no you did it all brother... Havent cried since my dad died in 02 but im busted up... Words cant describe. One of a kind and didnt deserve this... SDG&E decided to shut off power to where I live until 5 pm tomorrow due to unusually high gusts of winds. The notion is that higher winds knock down trees onto power lines csusing fires leading to massive conflagrations. Great I can accept that, except the winds died down around noon. And there’s areas that have lights no more than a half a mile from me.
With the fans shut off, this is easily the loudest grow I’ve had to date. Gonna be horrendous if this safety measure leads to germs in the tent or grow area.
Not to mention, wtf do I go for the next 4-5 hours in the dark. Only alcohol I have in the house is a half empty bottle of limoncello from who knows when. We just ice hashed any remaining trim/lower quality buds from prior grows. I kinda liked the limoncello on our recent rip so I guess I’ll take a glass up to our “ovetmrlook” and hang out for a while. I hope the plants are tough mothers.

Ive seen plants really going for it in 115 degree weather, It doesn't phase them a bit. But cold..... They don't like that at all. Stunted, hook leaves, you name it.

mornin campers...down in the 20's again last night,but back up into the 50's today,and into the 60's the rest of the week...still not finding any whiteflies or leaf hoppers in the garden
off to trim town tomorrow,should be fairly easy trimming,i'm going to try and get through 2lbs tomorrow...then take a short day and only do a lb...then i think we break down the rest of the first room and then a few days off while it dries and back to trimming,then the second room comes down so its gonna drag on for a while...but that will take me to when my room starts back into the harvest cycle...
today i get to go ride...
alrighty...time to roll out...forgot i need to do laundry today so i get to do chores instead of going for a nice bike ride...at least it's warmed up...
Generators are the way to go... I have 2 6500w generacs...now... My 5500w was stolen while were were providing disaster relief...the house and shop are hardwired so all I have to do is kill the main in both and plug the 240v twistlock in... These are fine if you have to have them... I just ran them for about 20 days straight 5 gallons of gas will give you 12 hours of runtime... The shop has a big natural gas tank outside... I worked out a deal to do some diving for a few people that have deep pockets... Salvage Diving and rasing 2 sunken sailboats... It will take a while its not hard and we have most of the gear we need... The rest I can easily borrow... We figured out we need 20 more 300 lb lift bags... All I have to do is float them... They are sitting in about 45 feet of water... In return they will have 2 natural gas Kolher 10000w generators installed and hopefully I wont have to worry about having power.... 24 days with no power and fucking with 5 gallon gas cans that we had to drive 122 miles round trip to fill every other day for the first 2 weeks will be a thing of the Past.... Fuck Hurricanes.... And this one was MASSIVE.. Never before has a hurricane traveled 130 miles off the coast inland or taken so long about 40 hours to be declassified to a tropical storm... Recovery is just getting started...
After I had my home intruder I put 4 Arlo pro in here.. They are a bit pricey but they have worked flawlessly... Anything that comes into view has sent me an alert on my Cell. Arlo makes a door bell cam I have no need for a doorbell. 1 of my cams gets the front door/deck. I can give a thumbs up recommendation on these cams.
it was apparently crazy people day at the laundromat...had some muttering,fart noise making guy babbling at me while i was trying to read while waiting for my clothes to finish...at least it wasn't boring!didn't get a fun ride in today,but i should be able to go trim for the next couple of days and not need to worry about doing anything aside from coming home and bitching about it for hours
