I love XP Pro, but I would never, ever, ever connect it to the internet these days...

I have it on my backup computer that I use for backup storage, and music and picture editing and anything else where I don't have to go online...

Sane here. There are no more updates for XP. I hate windows 10 and wont use it. I'm on windows 7 still, but my favorite is XP on my old dinosaur dell xps. That thing has excellent aftermarket graphics and sound cards, with true surround

I will be using Win 10 pro on the new build. Old PC has Win 7. I can make win 10 look like win 7. There is no more support for win 7. Everything is now win 10 only.

Most good MOBD have built in Audio and 4k video. Adding a aftermarket GPU is what most do. I don't play games on my Comp so I prob wont.

Total cost of new build $1530

None of the Seeds of Africa Durban magic came up so far. Those are the seeds I bought for my son for removing and cutting up a dead pine tree for me.

I think I may buy some more Durban seeds from elsewhere for him to replace those. Maybe Ace. They usually have good quality. Any suggestions on a good quality Durban, or if I do order from Ace, any suggestions on other seeds to get from them as well? I was thinking of grabbing some Kali China, and the Nepalise Jam looks nice.

:kos:durban poison...one of my least favorite strains ever!

only smoked it once,in amsterdam....basically tripped balls for like 4 hours...couldn't stand up from the constant head rushes...took me 3 hours to get out of the coffeeshop to only waqlk across the street and sit by a canal for another hour before i could walk back to the hotel...

:plant grow:done with veg at least...and got a batch of bubble made...off to wallyworld real quick then back for more chores...

There is a DP cut many are running. I wasn't sure of the quality of DP so I passed on it. You guys should be able to find someone running it.

The only seeds I've grown yet from ACE were their Malawi Standard seeds. They were a freebie choice. Based on my one attempt with them, my advice is to definitely grow them but go outdoors. They went all Jurassic on me in my tent.

I was very please with the 100% germination. All but one were female. They remained healthy and vigorous throughout. no problems with deficiencies or insect/fungal problems. They just never stopped growing. I use the tallest tent I could buy: 7' 9" SJ DR150. The Malawis had grown above the light by about d 60 I think. IIR, they would normally be taken to 12-14 or more weeks.

I finally had to throw in the towel and chop them when I harvested the other plants I had in the tent. I was afraid the scorched tops near the fixture would catch on fire.

Here is an out of focus shot to show how they did in comparison to a headband cross from Loompa.

picture.php

The two sets of seeds were all popped on the same day. They vegged fairly similarly and all went into the tent on the same day, with the Malawis being a couple of inches shorter than the Yeti Fuels from Loompa. In the front are the "normal" Yeti Fuel plants I got from Loompa. In the back are the Malawis. For reference, the lower tier of the PVC frame is at 30 "

They had fairly airy Sativa landrace bud structure around then but they still had a long ways to go so they probbably would have filled in a lot. As it was, that spear you can see in the middle of that row of Malawis reached from my groin to the floor when I cut it all down.

They will be monumental outdoor plants I think.

There is a ICMAG/SD grower with the IC tag of TERPENE who I've gotten to know through the "SD's finest cuts" thread and met with in person who has grown almost all of the ACE seed lines. He grows them both ID and OD. He grows them under LED bulbs ID. drop him a line. He's a very helpful guy.

here's some of his shots of his recent work:

They look a teensy bit better than my first try, lol
