It's a little different. It does have a similar chemdog feel, it reminds me of Sour Diesel minus some of the Hawaiian/Skunk smell/taste.
Definitely Chemdog genetics however it has a different kick/good musk to it? Not that the taste isn't as good as Sour Diesel, but that it is simply different and equal in appeal - depending on what you like. But if you love Sour Diesel, I'm sure you will find an affinity to Chem 91.

shes more fuely than OG is. OG has the earthy musky smell. grows nothing like an OG either. more spacing between nodes and isnt quite as dense as some of the OG cuts get though she is pretty dense and this was pics from my first run with her. the smell of this stuff is straight fuely with tones of sour citrus and skunk to her. real wicked smell but VERY pleasant compared to the chemD foulness (those chemD is great stuff) if you grow her and smoke her you can tell 110% that shes the mother of sour D. ~SMF~

Thanx for clearing that up from what u are saying I think I have the real cut as well and even if its not its sure as hell close enough for me real stoney and hard hitting lung expander was smoking some today.

91 crossed to the LVPK would be great. i just crossed the LVPK to my grape ape male i have from original stock. i call the cross sin city. i havnt ran tests on her yet but plan to pop some soon and see what comes of it. also hitting the 91 chem with some grape ape. i also used a white D (white x tres) male from top dawg seeds that was almost pure white pheno. i have a ton of crosses i still need to sort through and see whats what. thanks for the input thought my friend....happy growing! ~SMF~

Seems like the Skunk VA reins have loosened a lil, glad to see theirs more great growers getting a chance at her. I cant wait to give her a run. She is definitely a modern day legend. Ive read the original OG's were Chem91 s1's.

LVPK x Chem91 would be a nice fem. The LVPK x Grape Ape sounds like a winner. I was thinking about hitting her wit my OG x Blue Sat males or maybe finding a male in my Peyote Purple's. Ive been running the LVPK for quite a while. She has great structure and is tougher than nails. I made a few LVPK s1's and will be working through them in late feb, Hoping for a good keeper. Also have some LVPK x Blue Moon Rocks and LVPK x Neville's Haze from friend's that should be cool. Keep up the fine work SMF. Peace, pot and karma. One love

i supposedly got the 91 chemdawg cut to and my have somewhat fat indica leaves....the person i got it from said its a big yeilder and finishes in early november if done outdoors....i plan on running it this year..

91 chem is straight up some potent fire. I think of it as just chemdog though because back then it was the only doggie in town. I ran into it back in aroung 93 (could have been a little earlier or later, lol). I never heard of it back then, a friend was at another friend's house and rolled a bone. There were like seven of us there but five people quit hitting the jay before it was done, I being the macho pothead that I am had to keep toking until all was left was a sticky mess. I had I think one beer that night. Anyhow I got very stoned and decided to go home and crash. The nexty thing I knew is I had the fcking room spins from weed! I had cold sweats and spent the next couple hours sitting on the edge of my bed hoping to come down, wtf? As soon as I did I startede plotting, I knew I had to get that fcking cut. I ended up trading a 400 wt HPS system for the cut and it was well worth it. I lost the cut about 98 or so to an infestation and went dogless for a couple years til I happened to meet Chem (we are from the same town) and when we became friends he hooked me up with the d.

As far as comparisons between 91 and the d, it's hard to do because I grew them years apart. Potency is close I think but most people say the d is stronger. I never had a whitey on the d though, but I have seen some friend's struggle, lol. Odorwise the d is definitely a stinky biotch, the 91 was smelly but not so offensive (although it's a smell potheads love, lol).

JJ is a good dude, I grew his doubledog years ago and a few of his more recent strains that he sent me after I got busted a few years back.A stand up dude and some nice fire too. I find it very comical to see someone pointing to JJ's agenda when they have an obvious agenda of their own. Something about glass houses and throwing stones comes to mind.

This is most likely why OG Kush doesn't grow exactly like Chem '91:

According to Chemdog who was connected with the people who discovered OG Kush. It was essentially a S1 or rather an "Original Diesel" plant that accidentally self pollinated - not a straight Chem 91 S1. I was originally under the impression that it was a Chem 91 S1, but stand corrected.

Original Diesel = (Male) [ (M) SensiNL X (F) MassSuperSkunk ] X (Female)Chem '91 (aka Chemdawg)

S1 = a female was sprayed to produce seeds without a male. Essentially crossed to itself.
** I've heard many say it's an S1, however Chemdawg knowing the person said it was an accident and rather an Original Diesel plant that selfed naturally and produced some seeds, one of which being OG Kush. The seed basically expressed a pheno from the Original Diesel gene-pool.

We all know Original Diesel is the backbone of Sour Diesel:
