Didnt make me feel like that. I loved it. But, it had no ceiling, and I never got burned out on it, in over 5 years of growing it.
Most people have never experienced smoking extremely potent marijuana, like this stuff.
Like I said. I got $4800lb out of it, and couldnt grow enough of it.
People always asking for trip weed, like Vietnamese, Thai, Malawi ect. This stuff, was the shit.
It was a magnitude more potent than a Chem91skva clone Ive had for 7 year.
I do want to try and recreate it at some point using Crickets and Cicada Skunk x Puck BC1 for the Male, and maybe something like Cuban Black Haze, or Doc D A5 Haze, Relic Cough BX3.

I live next to a big park, and all the locals used to hang there, and Id roll a joint up, and go looking for Victims.
One buddy I saw driving throught the park, with his girlfriend, and stopped him, and asked if they wanted to smoke joint, and they said hop in the van. So, I instantly fired up the joint, and we had about 3 blocks to exit the park.
By the time he took 1 big toke, he had to pull over, and park for an hour, before he could regroup, and drive. He asked me if he could have the rest of the joint, and I gave it to him.

Lucky 13 Seeds, in Canada, has the best version of Super Skunk, IMHO of course.

It is a combination of genes, from multiple sources from the year 2000. It was a 2 years project, and they generally sell out fast, but he made a bunch of them, this time, but, as of now, there are only a few packs left. I bought 2 packs of them, a couple months ago.
He also gives 20 seeds per pack. This was an open pollination, of the smelliest plants, he could find. Also not claiming RKS, but does have some stinky stuff.
No attention was paid to structure, or bag appeal. Mainly just as funky of a smell, as possible.
He gives 20 seeds, because of variation. Though, it always had variation.
It is called Super Skunk Y2K. Y2K of course standing for the year 2000, as per the dating of the original seeds used.
He also has the best version of Skunk #1. It was released last year, and sold out in 10 minutes.
It is called Skunk #1 IBL. I missed out on it, and is allegedly going to be rereleased sometime this year.
It has been tested at an honest 22%.
These genetics come from 1985, and have been heavily worked. It does have some skunky overtone type phenos, but are more Floral. Same with the Super Skunk. It can have a skunky spray type smell, but it is of a more floral variety, which I also like. But, is not what people are looking for in the old type skunk.
And while I liked the old skunk, it was in no way the most potent stuff I ever smoked.
In reality, the best suff Ive ever seen in modern times, and 100% for growing indoors was a NL5 x Haze x Nevils Hashplant x Skunk #1. This was bred in 1990.
My buddy was an Eagle Scout Master, and he went to a convention, in Louisville, Ky, and met a younger guy, who was also an Eagle scout Master, and the subject of weed came up, and he told my buddy he had some killer seeds, he wanted to give him. So he gave him 15 of those, and 15 of another variety, that was more Indica dominant.

The NL5 x Haze x Hashplant/Sk1, was sativa dominant in structure, and narrow leaf, and had the fast flowering time of the Hashplant/Sk1. 7 weeks, and it was done. funny thing is though, Outside, it wasnt done until first week of November. Just shows that it had a long response time outside, but, once triggered, it was very fast. It took deep into late summer, to trigger it, but going straingt to 12/12, caused it to go nuts.
Nevil, did give a warning on the NL5 x Haze of the time. I have one woman, still mad at me, because she swears I put PCP in the joint. She was gagging, in front of the toilet, for 3 hours, and extremely paranoid, and agitated. This weed made more than a few people turn green. And it was super choke, lung expanding, and tasted like the worlds finest Nepali Hash. It was so strong, it was unsafe to try and drive, and smoke it. It could hit so hard, that if you tried to hold it, it could make you lose your vision, for a few seconds, followed by 2 minutes of trying to regroup, and be able to breathe again. It was totally unsafe to drive and smoke it.
I got $4800 an lb, all day long, and couldnt grow enough of it.
sadly, a partner ratted me out, and I lost the strain. He had a 2000 acre farm, in Lincoln County Ky.
I gave him 500 clones, and he got caught. Ratted me out, to the FBI, who came and found 750 more. He got off for ratting me out, and I did almost 8 years in Federal Prison, and 5 Years Supervised Release. From 1997-2009. I pled guilty to Mandatory Minimum 10-LIFE-3-5 Million $$$$ fine, which was waived. Cant get blood out of a turnip.
But the stuff must have had the infamous A5-Haze, or whatever in it, and all the other genetics just so happened to make for ME, the best shit Ive ever seen, especially for indoor cultivation. I grew it from 1992-97, and never wanted to grow anyhting else. Though, I did grow AK47, NL5, Sk1, Afghani #1, which I loved, and wish I could find a killer genetic pool, as Sensi Seeds, is nothing like it used to be. And several other strains. But, none of it was as potent, nor would it cause the extreme reactions many got from the NL5/Hz-Hp/Sk1.
And every plant, was a clone of the last one. Out of 1000s of plants, I never saw ONE bad plant. It was as clone like, as it gets, and is still the most consistant from plant, to plant.

I also have a Chem91skva cut, and while it is really really good stuff, it is not as of an extreme reaction, as the stuff I had. Many didnt like it, because it was so potent. I lost older customers over it, as they wanted something to relax after work, and this stuff would have them peeking out through the curtains, knowing the cops were out there.
It also reeked. It was a more cat piss, and floral skunk. But the taste, was pure Floral HASH, of the highest order. And with extreme lung expansion. We one time grew it, in a really nice house, with a concrete basement, and you could still smell it, out in the street!!!! 100 feet away.
If I could get back those 15 original seeds, and start over again, Id never buy another seed.

Avg. Flowering Time: 9-10 weeks
Yield: High
Potency: Above Average
More Information: In a two year project to bring back the classic Super Skunk that has nearly been lost to time, we embarked on a vast pheno hunt of multiple vintage Super Skunk strains from our seed vault.
It is well known that the Skunk plants of 20-30 years ago are far superior to what is making the rounds today; all of which trend towards the current market fad of super-sweet and fruity expressions. The Super Skunk that was circulating through the underground market in the 90’s and early 2000’s was a far more pungent plant with a much more distinct and euphoric high. The ultra-rare and highly sought after Giesel and Mass Super Skunk are just two of the many lines that descended from this classic Super Skunk strain.
In order to bring back these lost genetics, we had to pop a significant number of Super Skunk seeds that we held in storage dating from around the turn of the millennium.
In this open pollination our primary goal was skunky and pungent aromas. This required significant culling of any and all phenotypes that didn’t express that telltale funk that you would expect in a strain called Super Skunk. We removed all plants from the breeding pool that didn’t provide a measured dose of that classic aroma, regardless of how desirable they may have been in other categories. No attention was paid to structure, yield, coloration, or modern bag appeal. As a result of this singularly focused selection process, and the sheer number of plants combined in this massive open pollination, do not expect clone-like uniformity in Super Skunk Y2K.
However, if you’re a dedicated skunk hunter willing to put the time and effort into exploring these old school genetics, you will be rewarded with some classic cannabis gold in each and every pack. Super Skunk Y2K delivers a retrocentric experience from the days before smart phones when the weed was killer and the smell was offensive.
Due to the unique nature of this project, and our desire to get these vintage genetics back out into the world we are offering Super Skunk Y2K in a very special pheno hunters pack of 20 non-feminized seeds for the same price as our usual 13 seeds.
A lot of very interesting informations in this post and I like how you talk the Skunk#1 and Super Skunk, I have had similar similar experiences with this gene pool, there are some really magical plants in those crosses.
When I was growing outdoor at lat44 one of my best result came from Aurora Borealis from Flying Dutchmen, cross of SK#1 and NL#5 but I don't remember which one was the mother/father of the cross. It is one of the few crosses who got 100% mature outdoor in the ground before the 10th of october, I think I cut the first branches end september(around the 28) and when I harvested all the plants(about a half dozens Aurora Borealis) they all had a nice fading with fall colors, it was the first time I saw this and at first I thought they were sick and got scared, it was in the end 90's and I had not easy access to the web so not as informed as I am now after decades of gardening. I should have made seeds with the AB and the Super Skunk I had the same year, those were harvested the same day as the Aurora Borealis but they were not as mature sadly but with the weather I had no choice, it was harvesting about 5/10 days too early or lose some to bud rot so the choice is quickly made.
As you say Sensi Seeds don't have the same high quality seeds they had in the 90's and early 2000's, at this time they had the best genetics available to me in Europe. The Flying Dutchmen had some great stuff as well but it was the same gene pool than Sensi Seeds had, mostly Skunk#1, NL#5 and Haze crosses, those were the main genetics used by Dutch seeds makers and even if they are some of the best in the world it became too repetitive after a while. I discovered american genetics in 2007 with TGA and DNA, it was like discovering a whole new world of smells, tastes and highs. At the same time I had some Sour-Jack seeds as freebees and those gave some wonderful plants, allowing me to discover the Diesel genetics, the seeds were not from Karma, it's important to precise this. If I remember correctly it was Turbo Diesel(or twin turbo diesel) x Jack 22, they were freebees given with each seed order from aliengrowshop, a shop in south Holland I think. I made an order of seeds just to have more of those freebees and I'm really I did because it was some great plants, the cross was not stable at all but I didn't care because all the plants produced wonderful flowers to smoke.

Nice. I'm the biggest cricket cicada fan. You should stop by my log sometimes. I got a bunch of his puck and puck hybrids atm. Also made a few of my own. 😆 also just finished up a destroyer nevilles haze! Funny I have alot of the same genetics as you.

Bro have you not ran that shoreline x puck? That should have those Skunk terps you want! Sounds like a hell of a super skunk

No, havent run the Shoreline x Puck.

About 6 weeks ago I started some
PUCK S1s, from El Jefe. I think there are 4-6 of them.
3 Cough BX 3, I think 1 Female from 3 seeds.
2 Destroyers-2 females
2 Killer A5Hz-Feminized
3-4 Pacific Northwest Hashplant x Puck BC2 -F2, from NWSun.

These wont be huge plants, and am growing them in 3 gallon containers. I usually grow 1-3 bigger plants, in 15-20 gallon containers, but th situation, wont allow me to do that for now.
This is a hurry up, and get it done grow, and then I have to dismantle it, until at least the mid fall.
The KA5Hz, and Destroyer will make the grow a bit longer, but I had to try a couple of each of those.

I had a bit of a stink bug problem, and a cat problem. Cat, and stink bug ate some of the leaves off of the KA5Hz, and Destroyer, setting them back a bit. Didnt bother anything else.
The Cough BX3, have been finicky.

I was told the El Jefe S1s were finicky, but havent found that to be the case, though, they had a really bad germination rate. 6 out of 15 came up, and were usable. All the others I had, had 100% germination.

The PNWHP x Puck F2s seem to be the hardiest, and most forgiving.

Photo from 4 weeks ago.
