i remember many years ago when i had a normal life and enjoyed pleasure, but "impositions" have focused my attention to pressing matters. so pressing that i don't enjoy the things i used to, because they often contradict the newer, more necessary priorities.

break the old associations and ideas, let everything float and be what it is and nothing more. employment is employment, good actions are good actions. there's no correlation between one and the other, they just may happen to occur in the same place, or not.

there are a lot of people who do the worst job they can, and we're glad of it... bill collectors, law enforcement... people who fuck up the environment.. government employees... a million grains of sand in the gears... if you gotta be there, know where you are and it's relation to what other people have to endure...


and keep your eyes open. it's like, this thread... some good talk. helping people reduce their trust in the social contract.

then someone "innocently" shows up and starts posting trivial crap in the thread about who said what, crapping the thread up and burying the good.

..i say keep your eyes open because this is a campaign, and those working against you aren't wearing badges, and they aren't staying behind desks in offices. the army has several civilian corps working the internet.

no . i learned from the cult you have to translate everything you say so that the important parts translate into all languages . its pretty much teh quickest way to source or fact check stuff.

I've come across this realization recently. I feel like 9/10 people you come across interacting with society really don't care about the work they do. They are just there for the paycheck.

I mean all walks of life: from doctors, to lawyers.... cops, waitresses, chefs, construction people, even cannabis growers.

I don't believe these people actually go to work everyday with the mindset of not caring, it's just a side effect of society and life. However it results in bad services, bad doctors, lawyers, cops, waitresses, chefs, etc. So we are effected by them all the time.

I can't really seem to find any good in this. I would love to be wrong but my experiences in life so far have proven this is true.
When I was younger I was convinced it was just the lower class of society and/or young people that didn't care. Now I am a bit older and I realize there is no social or economic barrier, most just don't care.

I went to school n got a job in my career of choice (at the time). I loved my job & the people I was working with. My love for people has never faded but my love for that career choice quickly faded when I realized I was nothing more than a replaceable cog in their money making machine. That along with other conflicts of interest drove me to quit right before I was supposed to go on a 2 month sabbatical.
The money machine only likes numbers... It cares not about names.

I've been happier being basically unemployed surviving on odd jobs to keep me fed. I ask the state for no handouts. I don't need their help!

It kills me when I see people on government assistance that don't speak English driving luxury cars, having 10 kids and walking around with smart phones and ipads all the whle our tax money feeds them and keeps the roof over their head.
