i finished my last run, the florida bagseed went 18 weeks of flower (from when i flipped 12/12) 15 weeks since the first flowers finally started going. i dont have any idea on weight its in jars now plus i chopped and smoked half of it before it was finally done. im gonna run a clone of it in hydro next run.
the one on the left is the clone, the other 3 are a mishaxkush (didnt label well) either MishaF1 or F3 females crossed with a male kush. the big one in the middle might be MF3xkush.
heres the sativa 19 weeks from seed, 15 weeks since 12/12, 12 weeks since flowers started.
heres before chopping the rest, i had already taken the other branch a couple weeks before. this is like 23 weeks from seed.
lastly is the chopshot
and roots

Hi I 'm lovin this thread. Inspired me to get me growing again. I have used cfls in it in the past and got a nice bit of smoke out of it but reading this made me buy a 70w hps. It is my aim to be as stealthy as possible, which brings me to my dilemma. Where i live i get police copters flying/hovering in the surrounding area a lot and they love to use their FLIR to bust people. I know 70w wont have a massive heat foot print but my ambient room temp is 78f at the moment. What to do, well i been looking around and i have seen some impressive LED grows and they say that they have almost no heat, can any one recommend a good low Wattage LED lamp (70W-100W), i want it to cover an 18"x18" area. One last thought, in earlier posts in this tread people who use over 70W and under 150W have suggested calling it "the micro growers club" why not call it the "Nano growers club" as "micro" denotes grows under a 1000W, Nano could denote grows under 150W and maybe under 1 cubic meter. Peace
lamsbread: The heat signature of a 70W HPS is minimal. Remember, people have lights bigger than this as sensor lights for their driveways etc. No chance it's going to be a blip worth noticing for a chopper.
Also, wattage by its very definition is heat. We're talking about the dissipation of current at a set voltage (Ohms Law). How that heat is dispersed and dissipated differs between lighting technologies, but they all (or at least their ballasts/drivers) must produce heat relative to their power consumption.
I have a 70W HPS and 60W of DIY LEDs (3 x 20W bars w/ SMPS drivers). The combined heat of the passively-cooled LED bars (I used HUGE heatsinks, incomparable to any LED lights sold) with their drivers is pretty close to the 70W HPS with its ballast. Where they differ is the infared light of the HPS, which is additional heat, but not much.
Hi Bonsai
thanks for your input, it has put my mind to rest as far as the copper chopper goes.
One thing sill worries me is summer time heat. As i mentioned my ambient temp(in side my house) is 78f (nearly 26c)
