My Goddess deepwaterdude :) Your latest update shows an excellent development in the flowering of all your plants  You are doing a great job friend!

Great colas on the Malawi x PCK, Orient Express and Panama Hazes.
The Zamaldelica looks like will be a fast finisher!

The upcoming 3-4 weeks are going to be delightful in your garden ;o)

Thanks for the kind and exciting words, Sir dubi, they are like a balm to my normally pessimistic mind;) If you think they're doing well, then that's exactly what they're doing.
They are at 8 weeks since flip today and pretty soon there'll be some seed porn: M x PCK has a real beauty forming at the top of one of her colitas and Syd has quite a few seeds closing in on maturity. PanHaze2 might also have one popping. Still no visible nanners or pollen drops on leaves, although Zamaldelica's earlyish transition to mid-late flower leads me to suspect her;)
I think it's time with this last wave of pistils to start flushing OE and maybe Zam, too. They'll get at least 3 more weeks, I think, and their soil has got what it takes to take them home, prolly. I may have to up pot PanHAze2 as she's looking mighty deficient all of a sudden.

I got the timer right and the room is nice and toasty, though there are a lot of curled leaves in the tent ATM. Mainly PH2, syd (as she sits in water, unlike the others) and HAze x KC1, who is still growing, but who won't be a beast, just a tasty lady. I'm good with that, Syd will more than make up for any disappointments in the yield department. Gonna be a big fatty.

Photos in a few days, be well all, dee dubya:peacock:

Edit: forgot to say that I'm smoking a bit of Panama x ZAmaldelica #1 from last harvest, most lemony, highest yielding plant, though all 3 were. Buds are airy and light, though they are massive and I have a ton of them from that one plant. When you break up the bud, the lemon shines through, they are too dry to sense any other dankness. The smoke is smooth and easy and here's the thing (gonna light one before continuing, refresh me memories), it's got the tired eye stone I remember from both green and red panamas but no red panama mental muddiness and quite a lot of zip. No body heaviness and a nice warmth in the chest. Sweet!

9 week pic update-part 1-Haze x KC1 and Orient Express

9 week pic update-part 1-Haze x KC1 and Orient Express

First, grow notes -
1) got a new pH pen and a wet/dry vac. Humidity was spiking in the 60s, so now I vacuum everything up after water for less o' that.
2) Zamaldelica and OE are getting flushed, just humic acid for them this week. OE is starting to look very good.
3) Haze x KC 1 is finally getting good color despite nasty burn on her. Syd is thickening and asking (screaming) for more CalMAg, which she got last feeding. The Panhazes are starting to flop all over the place.

Got some nice pics, had to narrow it down to 30;) SO three updates.
First is OE and Haze x KC1. Orient Express is very thick with GREAT terpenes, feel like making some sort of dessert out of her. Done in a couple of weeks, I think.
Haze x KC1 is recovering, believe it or not, and it getting water and humic like the finishing plants. She's a bit happier. Has nice trich development, which is no surprise;)

Next is the amazing Malawi x PCK and Big Syd

9 weeks part 2-Malawi x PCK and Haze x KC 2 (Syd!)

9 weeks part 2-Malawi x PCK and Haze x KC 2 (Syd!)

The Malawi x PCK's a beaut, actually took many more pics of her. Syd is maybe due for repot, along with PanHaze2. Everyone in the tent will get a pH correcting flush.

Next up ZAmaldelica and the Panama Hazes. PH1 is looking and smelling great.

9 weeks part 3 - Zamaldelica and Panama Hazes 1, 2

9 weeks part 3 - Zamaldelica and Panama Hazes 1, 2

Phaze 2 is falling all over the place, very hard to control her 3 foot branches. PHaze 1 is behaving and doing slightly better. She's got the Panama lemon zing, while #2 has the earthy, big calyxed panama smell. And definitely some seeds. Shoulda washed the tent thoroughly.

Anyway, nothing to be disappointed about, definitely not a good job with the medium and feeding. Thought I might get away with it, but the plants are definitely showing the effects of mistreatment. Some of the pics are reassuring though:biggrin:

Hope all are well, was surprised to hear the A5 x Malawi and Neville's x Malawi might be shorter finishers than some pure Malawi. Tempting if true. May pop 'em. Right now looks like they'll veg outside and come in sometime in summer.

Happy daze, dwd

Hey, thanks, fellas. Can't wait to take them out of the tent for pics at harvest time. I absolutely spammed the whole site yesterday, feeling sheepish;)

Today was the first pHd water they got in a while at 6.85 or so. Runoff was a bit more acidic, but not by much.
Watering was a tad sloppy today. I didn't want to move PanHaze 2, my usual entry point to the pots, because she's getting uber floppy and hard to re-situate afterwards. Instead, I tied everyone up, mainly to each other, and basically threw handfuls of water at the indecipherable areas where their pots might be, and hence their roots;) Sheeut, I haven't seen Malawi x PCK's soil since week 4. I'm hoping I didn't splash out more than a couple of gallons of medium by water bombing and that they can finish in the little they might have left.
Pistils are turning on the two PanHazes, #2 leading the way and getting heavier faster than sis. She could be a "fast" 13-14 weeker. 10th week seems to be OE's flopping point, too, big baby. The humidity spikes have me worried for rot on her and Zam. Keeping close eye.
The marijuana smell when I enter the house is now very sweet and pervasive, even far away from the room on the opposite side.
Now that I'm reassured about pH I can address whatever I'm seeing in the leaves. Mainly, PH 2 and Syd being pretty potbound and showing deficiencies, even while looking healthier than a week ago. Maybe repot would get them all the way to the end without much additional feeding.
Lastly, read some very interesting threads on Neville's Haze and A5, which seems to be a mythically powerful hybrid. Got me very excited for those malawi x's;)
Good day all, happy growing.

The very same;) Check out Spaventa's thread on the Ace malawi crosses. There's a link in the last couple of pages to an IC thread about the A5, history, reputation, and finally some excellent pics of the different A5, C5 and Neville's haze. Malawi should add some serious energy to the mix!

So, good news, bad news... Zam, whom I suspected of being the pollen donor in the tent if there was one, prolly is. I'm 90% sure she just shot a good round of nanners starting in this tenth week. I'm sad, because she won't get much longer in the tent to swell and finish properly, happy, because if I had to choose a donor to cross all these strains with, it'd be Zamaldelica;) I'll take a better look tomorrow, and if the nanners are moving fast, she's coming out. I already see a good many seeds in the tent, don't need more. And there'll be more room in the tent, no worries.

A Zamaldelica retrospective - RIP at 66 days.

A Zamaldelica retrospective - RIP at 66 days.

Here's the road she traveled... wanted to take her 10-11 weeks, but she came down this AM, nanners oblige. Haven't even looked at trichs, but she could have gone another 2 weeks just based on hairs and new growth.
Her buds are very fat up and down the branches, unfortunately we have to imagine how she'd look after final swell.
I think I'll bring OE to the front of the tent and put PanHaze in the back/middle and pull the other girls into center a bit.
Here she is at the gallows.

oh a ten-picture story told...laconically however both implicit and explicit...all those innuendos they make, them picture that is, with their looks and scents...but alas, looks and scents can often be misleading
...curious to know how she'd deliver...

Thanks, my broos. I gotta say, as I hung the Zam in my big room far from the others, my house smells ridonculous! Friggin delicious, and I know a good part of that is the fat OE in the other room.
Speaking of whom, I was just looking on the OE thread because mine just shot some nanners, literally this morning. Seems just a couple of folks have had "pick me I'm ready" nanners like these, so it looks like she's pretty done. Buds look very good in comparison to some I've seen, also thanks Syd for posting all your girls on the OE thread, they are very helpful. I know this girl didn't go as far as she could (still debating whether to give another water or no) but again, I'm pretty sure I have to take her. She moves very fast! Very nice baby, too, you'll see within a day or two.
Thanks fer lookin in!

Congrats for the opening of the harvest season !And what an opening! My first zam /kc had some similarities to your babe, did you see any resemblance with any of yours?Regarding smell ,I've figured it comes almost totally from the kc side.I'm itching to try another zam next time to try and get a chunky one like yours or all the others that show up mostly last months in the zam thread. The "wilder" version I got has mostly malawi terps but not strong enough for the level of tolerance I got right now. Will judge again after some months of cure.

I checked a bit on my past OE plants, boy,I really didn't do them justice to say the least.:biggrin:The total opposite of what you did there with her ,wow!My favourite was the last one on the line of photos, the ugliest ,heh. The sativa pheno I got last is more gentle and clear, maybe more long lasting but I love the instant hit of the more balanced phenos. The smell is divine and always the same...Hope you like her:tiphat:

Y'know what, Syd? I didn't even think about Zam x KC this grow and it's true the current Zam fems are fatties and do resemble my Lady S in bud style but without the KC purple. And yep, terps are completely different; this ZAm is VERY sweet, no skunkiness that I assume came from the Yunnan Indica... I'll know more later, but she's not bad at all!

I know the feeling about not doing the plants justice, feel the same way with all the hermying this year due to ridiculous inattentions on my part, sh*t I'm gonna start checking my female cat for balls, but you did finish that last one as she deserved, absolutely killed it with the Haze x KC and many others, no worries mate;) and this here plant I've got will be a great yielder even if she should go more. I find myself surprisingly excited to try pure Zam and OE, both I'm sure will be good if not much better than that;) I watered her today to get a bit more fade and depending on the progress of the nanners, she'll come down tomorrow or next day.

Otherwise, all I'm thinking right now is Please lemme get a good finish on the Hazes, that's all I ask. And Malawi Pck who has tanked right through all this as if it was nothing. Can't wait to see her fade.

Lastly, I've hooked up my intake fan to pull directly from outdoors into the lung room to keep humidity down, just means more heatin and passive vents open on the tent. OE harvest imminent, be well all, dee dubya

OE day 67-pre trimmed and in the dark for a day or two

OE day 67-pre trimmed and in the dark for a day or two

Took all the leaves off whose necks i could get to. She looks so less ready than she did in the tent;) Still probably doubled the yield of ZAm. Anyway, she's staying a day or two in the dark, outside the tent, and I'll cut her tomorrow morning and hang her with Zam.

I took her out and then fought with all the spydery haze branches to get them in some sort of order, scooched Malawi PCK more to center and Haze KC 1 where OE was. Don't want to go in there again for quite a while, Phaze 2 is lookin for a fight, and I'm just dumb enough to go for it.

I'll get some proper pics at chop and after.

5 ladies day 67

5 ladies day 67

These were taken yesterday morning, which I think is actually day 68 if it matters, after putting Zam into jars and staking the hell out of the tent.
Some real nice Panama Haze pics in here;) I forgot Haze x KC1.

I've been looking at ZAm and OE trichs and I'm happy to report there's some amber. The Phazes are starting to look better.
