my first year at the current place, we used some seeds that my ex-partner made himself, by accidently pollinating his indoor garden with an overlooked male. strains were unknown. basically a total wildcard. our biggest plant was 4 lb

last year I did a little research and decided to go with Bodhi seeds because nobody ever posted a negative review, and he is local to my area. Our smallest plant was 6.5lb.

better genetics ftw indeed

STankDanKs plants will yield 7-10lb each, possibly more, i think at this point it mostly depends how much direct sunlight they will get in the fall

SD do you have any idea what strains you want to grow next year? also, any plans for a winter crop, are you gonna get a fancy greenhouse or just keep crushing like this

this BBHP is one of the biggest in the garden. these plants are twice the size of last years garden. i wonder how much they will yield ¿
two major changes made this season was better drainage and better genetics!! FTW

Dude at the very least 7 if they stay the course. That's a tall bitch!. I have 15 BBHP's this year. I planted them all about 10 days after my biggest plants and they are right about the same size now. Some have a structure like yours and some are much rounder and dense as a hedge (even after cleaning) I think there will be some 10+ girls in there for sure

IS this like the jelly bean jar game, whoever guesses the exact weight of the biggest plant wins the whole thing haha. but if you are off by a gram you get nothing. and its a dollar to play

SD how many hours of direct sunlight are they getting now per day? does it decrease much as fall approaches? I went from 14 hours per day in june to about 11 hours now

Also have you seen any PM pop up recently? i found a tiny spot on one leaf the other day, on the north (shady) side of one plant. I think i am going to spray everything with a strong dose of neem oil just as a preventative measuere

damn bro, 7 -10# would be great so i'll cross my fingers for now:woohoo:
we have been getting seed packs throughout the year and still want to get more before next spring. we will be running more Bodhi strains and we might run some Crocket genetics. no plans to do any winter crops over here. we do have a big greenhouse already and we plan to make some seeds after harvest. we already cloned everything in the garden and have some ancient og pollen to sprinkle on the clones we like after harvest sometime.
This is how we do it in 209 !

Amazing...you are going to have an awesome year. Aside from drainage and genetics, what other factors do you think helped? Didnt you clear more trees to gain an an average of 2 hrs sunlight? You still adding compost tea?

the jelly bean game sounds like fun lol
the plants get about 10 hours sunlight at most and some get only 8 hours later in the season. i noticed a little bit of pm when we thinned out the inners few weeks back. after thinning i sprayed with neem and i havent had any pm issues since. its a good idea to spray with neem now before they get more budded. im hoping i dont have to spray anything else this season. if neem doesnt handle the pm then i would reach for the GreenCure. i also have BT on hand just in case the cats come this year.

we did clear out some trees but not too many. we have done about 3 teas this season and we added a wheelbarrow of ewc in each pot along with the other ammendments. we also threw in loads of horse shit.. i think all the little things made a big difference. im really glad we added lots of perlite

Man stank everything is looking killer man, I think your low balling when u said 2 + but as a outdoor grower myself i do the same thing try to not count the chickens before they hatch as they say lol estimate in minor losses etc. (hopefully minor) etc., but I'd be extremely surprised if u dident at least average 5.5 a piece. Seriously man your killing it.

i didnt want to clutter up this thread so i started a new thread discussing legalization in CA next year. I hope other Cali growers will help support CCHI2016 in California
there are a few measures trying to get a monopoly in California cannabis market so please check it out when you get a chance and they are starting to gather signatures on Oct 31st
lets save the mom and pop farms in NORCAL by supporting CCHI2016
